Wild rice is often served as a healthy side dish or used as a major ingredient in salads and entrees. Canadian wild rice expands 3 to 4 times when cooked. Use 1.5 cups, about 1/3 pound, of uncooked wild rice to make 4 generous portions. Bagged selections come in resealable poly bags for easy storage.

The best wild rice in the world.
Usually I don't pay much attention to the photos of a product. But this product was different. The rice showed up ahead of schedule which I enjoyed , but when I seen the real product , well , the photo didn't even do it justice. This is an absolutely beautiful rice. Very few broken pieces . I couldn't wait to taste this , so I set about preparing a meal with this product. It was incredible . The best that I have ever eaten. I will remain loyal as a customer for this rice and their soups that are also beyond words. Great service and fantastic product.

Delicious comfort food & help the farmers
I divided it up & gave out 1/2 lb bags to the family for Christmas, along w dried shiitake mushrooms. They love it! I also like the idea of helping the folks who work so hard to gather & process the rice. I cook up a batch & freeze it in bags for easy gourmet dinners.

Good Quality
We have bought this at least 3 times now. We are very satisfied with the quality. It is a little pricey but we moved from CA where you could buy wild rice in bulk for cheap to the middle-of-no-where on the east coast where they only sell small bags of wild rice mixed with other miscellaneous rice, so we are willing to pay the money for the quality.

Canadian Organic Wild Rice is far superior to the wild rice that I was used to purchasing in the store. There is no comparison. I plan on ordering a larger amount the next time. It has a delicious flavor.
