Floor and Furniture Repair Kit

This thing works well and as advertised. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the heating wand thingy is battery powered instead of plug in. It heated up quickly enough. The product works well. Getting good results probably depends on the user. I tested it and found it relatively easy to fill the scratches. However getting the coloring just right to blend in seems pretty tedious. I stopped after about 10 minutes and got the pictured results. I suspect as I practice I'll get better at color matching/blending.

10/10 hack to cover little imperfections. Excellent repair kit for various surfaces. Love that it’s on batteries so no need to worry about staying close to an outlet or etc. Easy to use, and it does the job.

Originally bought the product to fix a crockpot incident that critically wounded a new floor due to a drunken stumble up a single stair however it is so useful I now bring it to the bar to patch minor imperfections in the bar top or to the bathroom of a trendy restaurant to correct a small chip in the stained tongue and groove wood paneling at the lower half of the facilities. Handy carrying case makes it so it’s not weird to bring out with you on a night on the town and the battery power makes it less awkward than trying to find a plug in. Plus, the wax is edible, at least to my cat, and less deadly to dogs than a bunch of chocolate ( I am not a vet). 1 star

I was very pleased with this kit! It had enough colors that you can blend waxes to get a great color match. The tool is very handy! It heats up quickly and has a nice scraper end to remove any excess wax. I almost wish i had more holes/divots in my woodwork so i can fill them. I’d recommend that anyone buy this and have it at hand for when you need to fill in a hole or divot.

I am pretty good with all things wood. I have done more than my share of finishing and refinishing. I worked and worked on this gadget. I followed all instructions. Finally I had to do a bit of engineering to get even the smallest space reworked. This was awful.... there are several other products that are far better to order for repair and fixing wood. Dont waste your money.

It has great color match. It does heat up in less than 30 seconds so be careful not to touch tip. It’s simple to use but the wax not really stick so well take much prep work May could use d for something else. I ended up using furniture markers for wood and wood glue worked just as fine without the fine crumbs from the wax. I am very patient and will do my best to always make ways for a product to work as it says.

This product saved my life! (well, not really but...) When you just spent 5K on a new wood floor and something chips it and it is NOTICEABLE??? This product made it so the chip is never seen again! I am by far NOT a repair person but using this and following the easy to read instructions gave me the edge I needed to make that chip disappear! Even now when walking through the house, even though we know where the chip was, still can't see it!
