The belt was purchased as a replacement for a very old one. It was purchased for my husband, on doctor advice, who has a hernia that has been giving him trouble. It fits well and whilst not worn for a prolonged period yet, seems to be comfortable and doing the job.

Used for an abdominal hernia at the incision site following a Nephrectomy 7 years ago. Gives placed support using the pads supplied and the belt is also easily washed.Velcro fastening is strong but needs to be placed exactly for comfort and not be allowed to overlap at the edges for a comfy fit, you need to be able to pull hard to open the Velcro to remove.

What can I say , this is the best buy I've ever had especially in my circumstance, I'm waiting for a Hernia Operation and if I didn't have this I would be so restricted , this is a life saver .. Highly recommended, A must buy if you've got an Umbilical hernia 🙏

Ordered the XL as per the web site. Item arrive tried it on and after stretching did the job using the bigger pad. Trouble was that it rolled down and the pad and belt difficult to remove with the strength of the Velcro. Tried again next day same problem. I was thinking of returning the item as not fit for purpose, then came up with a cunning plan. Keep it from rolling with a pair of braces. This has now work well for a few days and the pad kept in place. However two people needed to put it on as braces need adjusted back and front each time. So if you want this item gets some clip on sturdy braces and a friend to help you put it on.

Arrived on time, does what says on the tin, good quality belt.
