'Toy' is a posthumously released album from David Bowie. Recorded in mid-2000 in New York with members of his touring band, with a mixture of new and unreleased old material rehearsed quickly for the purposes of what would have been a surprise album, it was shelved by Virgin/EMI, an act leading to Bowie's departure from the label.

Great album at a great price
I've got this album on CD (it's a brilliant album) and always thought the vinyl album was a bit pricey.The CD is a triple and the album is a double, so with buying the album you lose some tracks (it's all the same tracks you miss out on some alternate versions of these tracks).I like having the album and when this dropped in price it was too good to ignore.Ordered it on the Friday and asked for the free delivery service.I don't have Prime and it was £4:99 for next day service. My delivery date was Monday, which I was fine with, but lo and behold it arrived on the Saturday morning!So, I saved money on the price of the album and then saved myself £4;99 delivery charge, well done Amazon.

Bought it to add to my collection,along side the album on other formats.Needless to say it's brilliant.It now means I once more have every official David Bowie album on cassette.

Finger prints and marks all over second disc...Scratches all over!This is obviously a return from someone or a very, very poor quality control at ISO Parlophone?Very disappointed!I’ll send this back to RETURNS department when review is published.

Great album
Great album from Bowie, should of come out years ago..Vinyl is great sounding, no crackles.Superb.London Boys, I dig everything, shadow man are stand out tracks.
