My 3 year old LOVES puzzles. We started with 25 piece then graduated to 60 piece and recently tried 100 piece puzzles with him. Most 100 piece puzzles are for 5 years and up. I am a HUGE fan of Melissa and Doug products and we have bought several of their puzzles and have been pleased. However, if there's one thing my boy loves more than puzzles - it's dinosaurs. I saw this Ravensburger puzzle for a reasonable price and free shipping - and well why not, you know? Now, I am a total convert. Melissa and Doug puzzles are good. Ravensburger are GREAT! The quality of this puzzle blew my mind. The pieces are sturdy, well cut, fit together seemlessly, and the colors are vibrant. It's just so well crafted. The box actually says that the puzzle is for 6+ years old. Like I said, my son is 3 years old. He turned to me and said "Mommy this is hard." I asked him if he wanted to quit and he said "No, we do it as a team." Sure enough, the kid pulled it out! 45 minutes later, he completed his puzzle and was cheesin' the whole time. This puzzle is going to be a constant for a long while - until of course we order the next one! Totally worth the just under $10 price. I already went ahead and added the entire collection to our wish list - no sense in fighting the inevitable :-) Enjoy!

This Ravensburger Land of The Giants 100-Piece Puzzle was a Christmas gift for our 7-year-old grand son. I love the quality of Ravensburger and puzzles are so good for brain development. The picture is nice and clear and the pieces are thick and durable. Best part of all is that dinosaurs are one of his favorite interests, so this is a puzzle that interests him and he enjoys completing. So nice to spend some quiet time together, working on this puzzle, although he can also do it all on his own. Thankful for brands that can be trusted. Nice puzzle. Very giftable!

This is a good quality puzzle. The picture's colors are as bright as you can see on the listing. It isn't a large puzzle, but it isn't tiny either. I agree that 6+ is the correct age bracket for this puzzle. My son is almost 6 and he finished the puzzle over the course of a few days. He isn't much of a puzzle lover - but he is a dinosaur lover. And he worked on it slowly about 10 minutes at a time and then he'd move on to something else. For me, mother of a wiggly boy, this is fine. It teaches perseverance and that you can actually work on something little by little and eventually you can complete it. Just because you don't ever feel like sitting down and working on this for a long time does not mean you are unable to do it. This was the first 100 piece puzzle that he completed without help. You can get these much cheaper at thrift stores if you go regularly and have some patience. However, I find that at the thrift shops sometimes the pieces are a little damp, smell funny... so it was worth it to me to get it new. The pieces are thick enough that I can see this puzzle lasting a long time. Great buy. Also, this was a random purchase. He would have been annoyed if this was a birthday gift - lol.

Ravensburger puzzles never disappoint! Great quality and variety for all ages. I enjoy puzzles for my age group and my 3 year old grandson is already enjoying puzzles for 6 yr olds!

Puzzle print and materials are good quality, nice and sturdy. Only bummer was that when it arrived the boxed was crushed on one end. Seemed silly to return it for an intact box when my kids will probably damage it themselves too, I just taped the heck out of it.

Gave this puzzle to our 5 year old daughter for Christmas. She LOVES it. The colors are beautiful and images realistic - I like that they're not super bright and cartoony like so many others. I actually got this one because of the purple hues throughout it as that's my daughter's favorite color. The puzzle pieces are VERY well made, they feel so high quality in your hands, even the box is incredible. Normally I put puzzle pieces in ziploc bags and cut the picture out of the box to put in the ziploc bags - to save on space. But with this one, I am not doing that - it's just too pretty and durable! Highly recommend it.

Grandma loves the quality and pictures of this brand of puzzles. Have purchased six different puzzles and all have had all there pieces and are sturdy weight cardboard. This is for a boy of 6 years old who needed to graduate from a 60 piece puzzle to a little more challenging, he will enjoy this. Beautiful colors, just wished the maker would always include a picture with the names of the creatures/animals so children and adults could also learn the names while putting the puzzle together!

My 3 year old spent about 2 hours the first night working on this puzzle, now he throws it together quickly. his interest in puzzles went from 0 to 100 overnight!! we're going to move to 200+ soon :) very happy with the graphics on this one. and puzzle piece size is good for kids.
