I bought these to wear as a base for welding under my normal t-shirts. I chose the color white in a size medium and they fit good. The cotton content is 100% cotton, which is the main reason why I got them. They are fairly thin, which is a plus for me and what I am using them for, but if you want a thicker long-sleeved shirt, this might not be the best option for you. If you just want a little bit of warmth, this isn't too bad of an option, though. I think you could wear these out in early and late spring as well as early and late fall. During Wintertime time this could serve as a base layer, but would not be the best option as your only shirt. the last thing I wanted to add is that these shirts are a little bit see-through, but they are not as bad as others. I've ordered from Gildan in the past, and before ordering these, I had tried the ones that said G2400. When I compared them, these were less see-through than the G2400. I just wanted to add these in case anyone was planning on just wearing this long-sleeved shirt by itself. I got these shirts very recently, so the fabric still feels soft, but I will be making an update if the fabric's feel changes. I am planning on using one strictly outside of welding to see its usual wear in more "normal conditions."

Great quality and perfect to press prints on

I have had mixed results with Gildan. These go into the good column. Not super heavy cotton - more mid-weight, (if such a thing exists.) I tend to run between small/medium depending upon the maker and the cut. These were ordered in medium, and after washing I would characterize them as slim fit medium. The cuffs and collar are nicely finished. The shoulder seams hit me right as they should. I'm knocking off points for the huge scratchy neck tags that will require scissor surgery. Good for wear under a shirt or light jacket on cool days. Hard to beat the price!
