Great for KP
I have noticeable KP on the back of my arms and legs that feels bumpy to the touch. After using this product once, it’s already helped smooth those areas out and lightened up the dark dots. Usually, I use the First Aid Beauty body scrub every other day which is a pretty expensive routine since that bottle is $30 for an 8oz. But I feel confident that this scrubber can replace it because of its very exfoliating texture. It’s soft when i feel it with my hands, but when I glide it across my skin then wow it’s got a satisfyingly sharp and rough feel that scrapes those bumps away. You definitely shouldn’t press hard. Thinking ahead, I can throw this scrubber in a luggage bag when traveling without issues and I hope the edges stay sharp for a while. This is great as a pre-shave too. I gently rub it on my jawline/chin area and I end up having a way easier time with my razor because it shaves a lot smoother. Anyways, I recommend this product to those who can tolerate the sharp exfoliation. I find it necessary as my KP is more noticeable than others, but those with sensitive skin should take precautions and be very gentle with this device as it can be overwhelming. No need to push it into the skin, just let it glide!

Works wonders, but not for the faint of heart
I bought this product to help treat my keratosis pilaris (pretty severe). In addition to a special KP body wash and lotion, I purchased this brush to exfoliate my afflicted areas. Although I think the body wash and lotion help, I REALLY think this exfoliator does most of the work. I've used body scrubs, luffas, and even pumice stones to exfoliate in the past with moderate results. I've been using the Coolife brush consistently for 3 weeks, and I've noticed a significant difference in the texture of my skin. While it can't do much for the appearance of my skin (blotchy redness, etc.), it has made it silky soft which is something I've never experienced before with my condition. The brush itself fits easily in your palm and the handle makes it harder to drop it during use. The bristles are VERY stiff silicone/plastic. This means that it definitely does a good job of exfoliating. However, it is also rather uncomfortable and not at all a gentle means of treating KP. Those with super sensitive skin or low pain tolerances should really stay clear. Otherwise, the product is exactly as advertised, and I'm really pleased with the results!

Help for KP
I purchased this product to help with my keratosis pilaris (KP) AKA chicken skin. It can take weeks-months to notice a difference with treatment of this condition so it will be awhile before I can post my final review. After first use, I did notice much smoother skin. The product was easy to use and I was able to scrub my thighs and arms in very little time. The handle helped my grip and it fits perfectly in the palm of my hand. The directions state that you need to take it apart to clean it. Water can get stuck in the clear portion. Well, you have to have a flat head screwdriver or something similar to pop it open. I highly doubt I will be doing that very often. The feel of this is a little rough. It did hurt a LITTLE on my arms and legs. It's just a little uncomfortable, but nothing horrible. It takes something tough to get the job done, however; I could not imagine using something this abrasive on my face or other sensitive areas. Overall, good product for what I'm using it for. Knocked a star off because it says you can use it on your face and I don't see how that would not hurt badly and/or damage skin. Also, taking it apart for cleaning is highly inconvenient.

Ok
Easy to use and the design is durable. It fits right in your hand, however, the bristles are very hard and it hurts to use

Works great for razor burn, ingrown hairs, chicken skin and eczema.
I will be buying more of these. I originally bought it because i always have ingrown hairs on my chin. My hair is very curly and although I shave, wax or pluck then rinse with clean and clear i always still have ingrown hairs. It has gotten to the point where i have two dark patches on each side of my face from the blemishes they leave. I know alot of reviews said that is rich rough for the face but i used hot water and went in circular motion on my chin and it was fine, felt good even. I did end up with much less ingrown hairs on my face. I also used it on my legs before and after shaving. I don't usually get too many ingrown on my legs but i do have the bumps in patches on my upper thighs and the sides of my upper arm. I saw someone used the brush for that so i lathered it up have it a shot. It does work for chicken skin! My arms are so smooth! Before i got this brush i was using a rough back brush and I would dry brush before bathing. It helped but not as much as this exfoliator. Try dry brushing then soaking in a tub with a half cup of epsom salt and half cup of baking soda for 20 mins. Your skin will be so soft, smooth and moisturized that you will not need any lotion. I feel like it got me more clean as well. The downside to this brush is that I could not get it apart to clean it. There is a pin hole in the center and it does fill up with water. I had to push on the center of the brush to get as much water out of it and then i stored it bristles down. It eventually did empty. The other thing is yes, it does have a strong plastic smell, but im okay with that because it is not for my nose lol. Tips, don't use it with a exfoliation scrub and don't push down when using it. Overall I think it was a good purchase and hopefully with continued use my blemishes will disappear.

Works well for KP and shaving
It may be hard to tell in the photos because this product does not remove the redness of KP (keratosis pilaris) but my arms are much smoother than they have ever been. I tried it in the shower, after a shower, and just with dry skin. I think it works best after a shower when you have dried your skin off a bit. I can see the flakes come off so I know it exfoliates well. It will hurt a little but the pain is worth feeling smooth skin for the first time ever!! When I used it in the shower I also tried it before shaving and I had less razor bumps which was a plus as well. I will say, this is a lot of effort to regularly keep up with so I plan to only do it before events where I wear sleeveless dresses. Still, I am very happy with the product.

Excellent with a horrible design flaw
I've read several reviews. The folks who say this brush is too hard or rough... I don't agree. The directions say to use a light touch until you figure out what you like. I didn't find it too rough, at all. The grip is very easy to hold while in the shower, with soapy hands. It felt good on my scalp, chest, and shoulders. The overall design flaw that makes it not worth buying is the fact that it is made from three separate pieces of plastic/latex/silicone. When assembled in the normal operating configuration it is not water-tight and it has NO DRAINS. I can't believe that with modern manufacturing techniques someone could use the design for the bristles and add a thicker layer for the backing (that would remove the need for the completely separate colorful piece of plastic that seems to be more aesthetic than functional). Then a similarly shaped handle could be molded onto the back of the thicker base layer that would discard the clear plastic housing and handle -- which is the piece that has the large hollow reservoir that holds water from the first 20 seconds of use. If this product was constructed as a one-piece semi-rigid silicone/vinyl brush it would be fantastic... there would be no place to collect water and grow mold & bacteria. An alternate design change would be to make the clear-plastic housing perforated. To this end, I will consider taking the product apart and drilling holes or cutting slots in the housing to allow drainage and ventilation before I chuck it in the trash. BTW, the product directions indicate that the design flaw is known to the manufacturer because they give directions for disassembling the scrubber EVERY TIME it is used to clean and dry it. Considering that it is recommended that you use the scrubber once or twice a day, that's a lot of disassembling, cleaning and drying.

WOW difference for my elbow/forearm KP bumps, hairs freed and bumps smaller.
I have KP on my elbows/forearms. and some on my knees. True chicken skin, rough white bumps with very fine ingrown hairs with a little mountain of a pore kertain plug that both slide out with tweezers - and that's the only way I can clear the pore, but the bump remains. It has only gotten worse as I got older. I started with high % glycolic and salycic acid exfoliation pads and probably not that good of idea picking out hairs with tweezers and scarping with my nails to break them up. It didn't do much. I have also used a much gentler silicone scrubbing pad for my face with the salycic acid wash, which did absolutely nothing. I've tried every exfoliation scrub ever, doesn't work. Forever I have just wished for something capable of exfoliating these bumps of skin off. I have used this ONE time, and in combination with another product lotion that has salycic acid and antioxidants from a skincare company lady's name who starts with a P, I have NEVER IN MY 30 YEARS of having this seen this many of the ingrown hairs released. I'd have maybe 10 on my whole area, now almost every pore's hair is free. I can tell because they're all curly like they've been stuck in a pore for my whole life. It is rough enough that you know something is happening, but it's not scrapey or painful like that one loofah company. I want to cry with happiness. I didn't think it'd be possible to find something affordable that works. I can't wait to see what happens after using it consistently.
