CHAUVET DJ CHS-40 Effect Light VIP Travel/Gear Bag

Perfect. Can hold two of the DX wash lights.

I needed a bag to hold 2 of my Chauvet Swarm FX lights, and this did the trick. I used to take two boxes, one for each light. Now I carry both in one shot and it's way more efficient. Not too much padding on these, but it still works well for me. I'm able to put both lights, both cables, both clamps plus the light switch to turn them on and off. There's a pocket to use as well, but since I've maxed out the bag with both lights, I just put the booklet that came with the lights in that pocket.

I had picked up a couple chauvet washfx hex lights and wanted to make sure they were protected. This bag will easily hold 2 lights with room for foam padding between them so the lights are not rubbing against each other.

The CHAUVET DJ CHS-40 VIP Travel/Gear Bag is a decent-quality bag, but it wasn’t the right fit for my needs. I purchased it for my 4 EZLink Par Q6BT lights, but since there are only 2 separating compartments inside, it didn’t provide the protection or organization I wanted. This bag seems better suited for larger fixtures like the Swarm series or other bulkier effect lights. I ended up returning it and purchasing the CHAUVET DJ CHS-30 VIP Gear Bag instead, which fits 4 EZLink Par Q6BT perfectly.

Hey, ALL these Chauvet Light Fixture Carry/Store bags are worth purchasing for your lights. They're not bullet-proof, but are durable enough to protect them from getting scratched or even worse between shows. I didn't used to think they'd make that big a difference, but THEY DO. Now... can I get my "helpers" to CARE enough when they handle them? I might be asking too much. Yathink!? ;-)

I bought these to protect some lights (double derbys) that I didn't really have a case for and was worried that they would be damaged rolling around in my truck. I like the padding the soft sides afford, but I do wish there was more solidity in the form (they don't 'keep their shape'). I don't suppose I can have it both ways - at least not for this price. I also like the straps on the bags as that makes it easier to carry them in to the events. If you've bought lights, I would highly suggest getting something like this to protect that investment and keep them working.

NICE BAG THAT SUITS THE PURPOSE FOR WHAT I NEED. JUST A NOTE THOUGH. THE "PADDED DIVIDER" COMES STORED VERY, VERY FLAT AND TIGHT AGAINST THE BOTTOM OF THE BAG AND ISN'T VERY OBVIOUS. MAKE SURE YOU DIG AROUND IN THE BOTTOM AND PULL IT OUT.

Me llegó en tiempo y forma. Muy buen producto para cargar cables y luces para DJ. Quizá mejoraría que estuviera un poco más acolchado, pero lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Chauvet Swarm wash FX ILS fits inside perfect with some of origional foam packing for extra protection. Good bag.

I am so pleased with this gear bag. It comes with a few partitions if needed and LOADS of room. It's sturdy; zips are good quality. And good stitching. I've always had a problem with bags and hold alls falling apart. I think these are going to last a good long while and have ordered 2 more straight away. By the way - it makes loading so much easier too.
