I’ve only used a couple days so far but the install, setup, and Bluetooth connection have been great. Persons on receiving end of the phone calls have told me they hear me just fine (even with Diesel engine noise). Improvement to music audio from my last Jensen head unit. I have not used the app feature yet. Wireless phone charger extension is definitely the cool feature. Charge pad has a tension spring clamp to hold phone in place. The vibrations and shaking of the truck are held in check. It does charge my phone quickly. Steering wheel wireless buttons would be my only con so far. It worked the first and third day, but not on the second. Could be the battery in it. At this point I’m just going to stick that in the glove box. I recommend this unit. If I have any issues, I’ll do an update to the post. Update: Have been using for several months now. Never did retry the steering wheel attachment, honestly don’t need it. Bluetooth always connects to my phone with no issues playing music and also no problems with connectivity during phone calls. Everybody that rides in my truck loves the charge pad and wants to get one. After months of using, I’m attached to easy view of Google maps in use while secured to the charge pad. No need for phone mounts or handling your phone while using GPS.

I purchased this little Jensen to replace the factory head unit in a friends 2006 Hyundai Tuscon. Made up a quick harness/adaptor before install day and after removing the old unit it literally took a couple of minutes and the job was complete! Fits perfectly, works perfectly and sounds incredible... however you need to be careful when testing as it's far more powerful than the factory head unit and I accidentally blew the front drivers side speaker in the process, whoops :) All good though as even a couple of inexpensive replacements will round the whole upgrade off nicely.

The device itself works great and does what is expected of it. You can easily set presets for FM/AM Radio, do hands-free-calling, and pair easily through Bluetooth to your phone even without the recommended software. I bought this for my 1998 Toyota Tercel it does come with the adapter which I think was in standard format and I had to splice the wires from the OEM format of my car which I didn't really know was going to be necessary but it also wasn't that hard to do. I just had to look up a wiring guide for my car and figure out what colour cable was for what then attach it to the same-purposed cable on the adapter (see photos). This may be different for your vehicle! I bought this not knowing exactly how to install it, but I learned a bit about wiring my system, and now my old 98' Tercel has a small splash of modern technology in it.

Good budget stereo. Bluetooth, USB charging & music, radio and simple controls — all work fine. Display is basic, but the sound and installation are straightforward. Worth it if you don’t need fancy features.
