Well built. It looks and feels like it will hold up out doors. I have had it mounted on my patio where it’s exposed to indirect rain; but lots of it. So far so good.

I have been researching for a long time to find a fan that checks all the boxes for a horse barn. This fan is SAFE with an overheating shut off, quiet for a fan that runs so well, cools the stalls like 10 degrees or more even when tested on 100 degree days. I have so much peace of mind because barn fires are very often caused by over heating fans and the amazing value is a huge bonus. My animals are all so much more comfortable and I am so glad I found this fan.

Fan works great for my 20X40 barn. Moves air well. A little loud but nothing crazy. Easy to install but I do switch it turned left & right instead of just up & down.

I absolutely would recommend this fan! It's small enough for a porch ceiling. The metal blades make a much better wind effect. 3 speeds of tornado wind!! 👍

Well first use of fan everything is great except for the plug! It trips at the slightest power hiccup and in my area there are lots. Plus you can’t use with timer! Which I had wanted to use it in my chicken coop! So off with the plug! Since it was delivered in a FL thunderstorm and left at gate on ground, box not so good!!! JUST PUT A NORMAL PLUG ON IT! So after running for less than 2 hours at which time I was going to remove the plug I noticed how extremely hot the motor housing was. In fact the odor as I was lift the fan on to my work bench is was got my attention first!!! I have used fans for years in my coop, shop and garage and have never had one this hot unless it was bad or seizing up!

Works very well in horse barn to cool stalls. My horses get relief from the flies and heat!

Mounting is a challenge as the bolts attaching the bracket to fan fall inside the grill. Grill does not come off without bending & deforming the wire grill which no one wants to do, so getting the bolts back where they belong is near impossible (I used the wire tie that came with the black plastic knobs to fish the bolts back through the grill). Not enough space to get a screwdriver between the fan & bracket and why I needed to separate the two. The second issue was the bracket once removed from the fan grill expanded so I had the bend the bracket to get it to fit back to the fan. The manufacturer should consider making the rubber dampening washer a press fit to the bolt which would solve the problem for the loose bolt issue & do a better QC job on the bracket dimensions. Good luck with mounting! Once I got the fan mounted it does work well and keeps the flies out of the house as I aimed it at the door.
