Depression + Memory
Have used this product for depression and memory; virtually an anti-depressant for me (My own experience is not medical advice!) The taste isn't great, but 5 seconds of discomfort vs constant depression is a very fair trade off for me. Ideally, I would like to take it daily, but the price is constantly increasing, so I take it daily until the depression is gone, and then I take it once every week. I don't know if I'll be able to use this product in the long term due to the price, but if you can afford to give it a try, go for it!

Any affects may take 6 weeks to be noticeable
This is described as a complex of phospholipids and flax seed oil .It apparently helps with the maintenance or health of cell membranesIt is very thick and tastes quite nice, not madly sweet at all , almost like a sort of locust bean/black treacle flavour and maybe a bit orangey. Its not unpleasant at all and not at all sickly. The dose is 1/2 a teaspoon or 2.5 mlAccording to the bottle there are 158 servings which is about 5 months worth .The Best-before n the bottle is 18 months from now so plenty of time to get your 5 months worth.I had the first one neat and then followed it with a drink of water so I could get the full flavour. The next I added to muesli and it was unnoticeable once mixed in.As yet I have not noticed any marked difference in my general health. This could be that it isnt really needed in my case and so no difference is noticed or just that it needs a much longer amount of time to see any actual differences. You are advised to try it for 6 weeks to determine if it helps your health so it is very difficult to tell after just a few doses.I was a little alarmed at the price tag which is well beyond what I would be able to afford even only every 5 months.I would suggest asking your doctor before going ahead and using it as they are likely to have the most up to date information regarding its effectiveness and suitability for your specific needs.Contains Soy

Amazing stuff
To be honest, Phospholipid supplements (whether in capsule or liquid form) are something you pretty much take on faith. As with things like NMN and Reservatrol and Glutathione (all wonderful, by the way) you're benefitting your fundamental cellular structure, so while you're absolutely getting healthier on the inside (technically, younger) it's not something you'll necessarily see on the outside - especially if you have any existing health problems, or issues like obesity or diabetes. But, they are absolutely making you healthier on a cellular level, which is enormously powerful.Phospholipids are essentially a type of fat that give structure to your cells (our cells lose structure as we age) and form a shell around fats so they can be better evenly distributed around the body. This specific supplement is a Complex, meaning it contains both Phosphatidylcholine and Phosphatidylethanolamine which have slightly different functions. The thing is, I'm aware this is eye-wateringly expensive, so if you're just now starting to look into longevity and lifespan, I'd recommend dipping your toes in the water with NMN and Trans-Reservatrol which are a bit less scary!Alternatively, if you do want to try this, I really think it's excellent. It's a liposomal Phospholipid, meaning your body will absorb far, far more of the good stuff.I've been taking NMN, Glutathione and Reservatrol for months now (along with Apigenin, which is extraordinary stuff) so Phospholipids are new to me. I also received this in capsule form from the same company, so I'm more familiar with it now and, I have to say, I think it's easier taking it in liquid form. Just half a teaspoon with your meal, and you're good to go.The tablets are £69.99 and they'll last you one and a half months; this is £49.99 and it will last you around 40 days, so not much difference, and I think this slightly cheaper, liquid option is the preferable one. I know it's still expensive, but if Phospholipid supplementation does what it says, it's probably worth every single penny. They're manufactured in the UK, too, by a UK company, and that's always extra wonderful. So, I completely get that it's too soon to tell... but am giving them 5 stars, pretty much on faith.

Effective, Expensive... Room for Improvement
Phosphatidylcholine has many positive effects on brain function, playing a key role in memory, mood and sleep. It's also effective at cleaning out blood vessels, thereby improving health and physical/mental performance. This BodyBio supplement isn't cheap but it is effective. The daily dose is 2.5 ml. The bottle contains 98 ml of liquid - a 39-day supply.Because of the presence of ethanol in the supplement, I've docked 1 star from what would otherwise have been a 5-star rating. I chased up the manufacturer to enquire why this toxic ingredient is included.According to the manufacturer, "Ethanol is used to extract the phospholipids from the soy concentrate. The ethanol is then removed by vacuum distillation; however there is a small amount left." The term "a small amount" is disturbingly vague. I'd much prefer there to be zero ethanol in the supplement. BodyBio should remedy that next time they reformulate this product. Get rid of every trace of the ethanol, even if it costs a little more to do so.
