Works, fits like the as supplied, and shows no less power/time in use.
Nothing worse than the battery dying half way through and having to wait for it to recharge - especially since these often need to cool down first before they'll start recharging. Problem solved, have a couple of these on the go too. Now always at least one fully charged ready as well as the one on the go so never have to stop for the flat battery anymore! So far lasting as well as the original with no sign of battery degradation yet.

Excellent backup
I was somewhat sceptical buying a nonshark battery but i'm glad i read the other reviews and went for it.Charge time is about the same (remember and charge before first use!)Fitment is perfect, not loose, no issues.Not sure what the extra wire adaptor is for as our shark power cord fits straight in.Led battery indicator on the side the same as oe.Actually appears to be lasting longer than the genuine battery in use - though i have not tested this to prove it.So if you only bought the hoover with 1 battery - like myself - buy this!Update: So I have now had this battery for a good long time (I think 2 years?). Charge time is still the same, still in perfect condition and clips on nicely. The only difference I have noticed is the charge doesn't last quite as long now. But, honestly I still highly recommend you get one as "not quite as long" is still enough for me to do my entire house from a full charge!

Fits and charges well, battery life not as expected.
On first use, it fits as it should and charges with the Shark charger, which is good. The only issue is that it doesn't last as long as the OEM battery, but that might just be that the battery needs a few charge/discharge cycles to condition it. The fact still remains that it fits and charges and it is less than half the price of a new battery from Shark.

Perfect replacement
After fully charging, as recommended by other reviewers, the battery fit and works perfectly.

Battery cuts out
Problem is that the battery stops working almost every time I use it. It has to be removed from the vacuum and then put back. Works immediately but a pain nonetheless. Wouldn't purchase this again and would go elsewhere.Update - subsequently contacted by seller. Item replaced and refund given. Exemplary customer service. Recommended.
