Will this kill string slgae?

Pristine Pond will not kill string algae. What Pristine Pond will do is help balance the nutrients and environment by its action. Ponds are healthiest when the environment is balanced for all pond life. Algae in normal amounts is good in ponds, but when it gets to a large population, it causes problems. The bacteria, algae and other microorganisms compete for the same nutrients. As a result, Pristine Pond increases competition for the nutrients in the pond and helps balance the environment.

How long does it take to clear up pond water with this product?

I just put in 3 dose today ( so 2 whole weeks ) and I see a noticeable difference
