This stunning device is the best that you can purchase on Amazon
This stunning device is the best that you can purchase on Amazon. Bar none ! I have tested it on myself and four other military friends. We are not allowed to carry weapons off base in the states, but our wives and girlfriends need protection when we aren't here, which is often for special forces soldiers. All of us got together and decided we would research this problem. After months of research both on the web and off we decided for untrained persons the carrying of a firearm or knife is just too dangerous. Carrying mace can be effective, but the stream has to hit the attacker in the eyes. That's a two inch Target. The odds are not in the defenders favor, if there is any wind or the attacker anticipates it. An asp collapsible baton is great, but like deadly weapons it takes months of training. Overall we have decided that this device, which needs minimal training, is the best defensive weapon for evasion and escape of a very nasty situation. We bought four of them for our sweethearts after testing this one. I feel confident a woman will have time to get away after giving an attacker a liberal hit with this device.

Affordable Peace of Mind
I live next to a registered sex offender who has acted weird with me. I was quite anxious that he would break in -which I suspected him of trying. Having this unit with me at home gives me peace of mind that I could defend myself relatively easily and effectively. Plus, it makes a satisfyingly evil sound when you hit the button. I also installed bump-resistant locks, which I also recommend. Just so people know, it is possible to get into most door locks with a bump key. Google it and you may want to replace your door locks. also.

Superior to Omega and all I've tested.
This is the one you want. Tested omega secret agent , pen, and vipertech on myself. Clear winner by a landslide. Plus antigrab strips. You can't go wrong with this one.

Outstanding for self defense. The sound of the crack of electricity is really dramatic.
This is outstanding overall. I use it for protection when chasing homeless people out of our apartment garage. The sound scares the crap out of them. Now it's rare for anyone to go in (I have remote cameras that alert me), so I know when someone does, they're new to the neighborhood and the neighborhood hasn't warned them yet. I've never had to use it so far. But, since it has a proprietary charge cable, I lost mine and had to buy a whole new stun gun. Really wasteful, but I suppose I could carry both at once, LOL!

Scares the Hell out of Dogs!
The POLICE Stun Gun 928 is a medium Duty, Rechargebale with LED flashlight. The sound it makes scares off an attacking dog before they even get close to you. I always bring it with me on my walks and have only had to use it twice ---as a deterent before the approaching dog reached me and mine. They want nothing to do with you. NOTE: The only negative is the unconventional charging cord. It doesn't fit in the case and is small and easy to misplace. I wish the used a standard USB charging input?

This is it!!!
Like: Intense! I wanted to feel for myself what a perpetrator would feel if they attacked me I had my spouse stun me. The stun gun BARELY touched me and it huuurrrrttttt. Feels like: take some flames of fire, add electricity to that flaming fire....you got yourself this stun guns impact. The length of time I got stunned? Literally less than 1 second. Again, it BARELY touched me. THIS is the stun gun you want for your daughter or son when they are by themselves in a shady neighborhood or at night. If i ever needed to get one for someone I care about, this is NO DOUBT the one I’m going for. Also, it’s loud! It legit cracks, and the electricity that comes out of the stun gun is very bright. Great for intimidating a perpetrator. My friends and i were skeptical of this because of the price, but all of of were honestly shocked at how awesome this thing is. Dislikes: If I don’t plug it in over night to charge....the voltage seems to be a little less intense. Also—the string that wraps around your wrist is kind of thing, so it’s showing some wear and tear and might have to replace. Overall, impressed. This is the one you want to buy for your kids/spouse safety.

16 yr old safety
I got this for my 16 yr old daughter for Christmas. It’s small enough to fit in her purse, console/glovebox, and I feel much better about her walking to her vehicle alone after work knowing she has this. Thank goodness she hasn’t had to use it, but we tested it and it sounds powerful enough to do the job.

Loud, no easy accidental self shocks
I think my favorite part of this one, it is my second of this brand, is that the button used to initiate shock does not get pressed on easily! The last model I shocked myself several times accidentally. This one, it takes a tiny bit of pressure to initiate the current.
