I really liked the colors in this yarn pack. The yarn was not as soft as I expected based on the description saying "extra soft" so that is why I gave it 3 stars for softness. For my purpose, it was soft enough, but I would not recommend it if you truly want extra soft. However, the colors are beautiful. Good for kids' crafts.

Nice soft and easy to use beginner yarn however be aware if you order the classic set a second time to get the same colors. You will NOT get the exact same colors. My second orange, and yellow, are a slightly different shade. And the second blue isnt even close to the same! Second red, black and green are the same. Just a warning.

Unhappy that these offer 4 vibrant colors & 2 muted ones. Was hoping for all brighter colors. Yarn is nice to work with.

I bought this set last year and have been using it to make a granny square cardigan. That first time ordering I noticed the colors yarn they sent me were different than the ones pictured, but I didn’t mind because they were still very pretty and vibrant. I began running out of that original set of yarn so I eventually ordered the same set again (as shown by picture of old and new box stickers being the same), little did I know almost every color except the blue yarn would be drastically different (old blue not pictured because I ran out, but you can see the granny square I made with the old blue yarn in the left corner). I wanted to leave a higher rating but considering I have to replan my whole project now, can’t go any higher than this. The yarn itself is ok, but definitely overpriced even before this incident, I wouldn’t have reordered if I didn’t run out but now I see there was no point in reordering anyway, since the colors are so different. It’s too bad because I actually think all of the colors are gorgeous and vibrant, just wish I knew it would be completely different second time around.

The colors are nice and the quality is pretty good, but these aren’t very large skeins for the price.
