and I am happy with the result
I have used many different Kreg pocket screws in the past two years. A few weeks ago, I decided to give this new brand a try, and I am happy with the result. This is a quality alternative to the Kreg screws, but cheaper.

25% of the screws sheared in half during installation
Clearly made of inferior metal. 25% of the screws sheared off during installation. And they were being driven into only modestly hard wood (walnut) and I had a clutch on the driver to prevent from driving with excessive torque. Unfortunately there was no way to remove the screws after they broke off, so it messed things up good. I've never had other pocket screws break like this
