TPO 6.5 Creedmoor Red Laser Boresight, Red Laser Boresighter with 6 Batteries

My rifle is zeroed perfectly at 100yds but I need to switch to a 20 moa rail. I wanted to use this bore sight to reference the current point of aim and match it once the new rail is installed. The laser seemed too far off on windage so I rotated the laser 90 deg and re chambered in the gun. The windage discrepancy switched to the other side of reticle and so on as I rotated and re chambered. Upon looking down the tip of the laser you can see the lens isn’t centered. It would probably work to get your gun on paper but it is not very precise. It looked to be off by 4-5” at 30yds

Other boresight lasers I've used allow the bolt to fully close, which I prefer so I know it's seated fully. This one doesn't, so I just closed it as much as I could.It was one of the few 6.5 Creedmoor lasers I could find in stock at the time and it was accurate enough to get my scope sighted quickly, so I don't have much to complain about.Nice that it comes with extra batteries.

Don't waste your money on this piece of garbage. At 25 yards I got my rifle sighted in with the laser, took 3 shots and all missed my target completely. Thought it was user error and put the laser back in and the dot moved 2', got it zeroed in again, removed the laser and put it back in, sure enough the dot was off 2' again. Gave it to my sister so her cat can chase it around.

Easy to use and accurate

Made bore sighting a piece of cake. Took longer to install the batteries than to sight in the gun. About a minute for the batteries, 30 seconds to sight in the gun. Could not be more pleased.
