Great popover pan!
I have been baking popovers off and on for over 20 years, but previous muffin tins and dedicated popover pans all lost their luster. Smearing the sides with butter and sprinkling flour to keep them from sticking didn’t do the job. Non-stick cookware all gained sticking points—some from misuse, to be fair, but some just from regular wear and tear.I haven’t had a popover pan in a few years because the last one lost its non-stick properties after only about a dozen uses, despite hand-cleaning and keeping away everything that could potentiall scratch it. I looked at the reviews for this pan before purchase, as it is more expensive than any other popover pan I’ve purchased to date. This pan has so far been excellent for my popovers. They do look slightly different than the popovers from my previous pans, and I have had to adjust the cook time upward by a couple of minutes due to the heavy-duty construction, but the popovers come out great, with large heads filled with eggy batter, ready for butter. I’ll get some marmalade in the house when a guest comes who would like some.My roommate piled a few quarter sheet pans atop my new popover pan and somehow it got a gouge along the top, about the size and shape of a steel-coated thumbnail. The small gouge has not affected my popovers, for which I am very thankful.Cleaning is easy, requiring a little soap in each cup, some warm water, and a microfiber cloth. The frame is easy to wipe down, so cooked-on drips don’t stick around.I’ve made quite a few batches since the pan arrived, and my daughter has joined my wife and our roommate in declaring that Popovers Are Yummy. I’m ordering a second pan!

sturdy, easy clean
This pan is high quality, sturdy, stable and easy to use. I made popovers for the first time, and added extra batter to each cup to make them extra big. (Instead of 9 popovers, I made six extra large (shown in photo) and three small. The popovers slipped out easily. (The boxed mix that I used called for lightly buttered popover pan, so the butter probably helped.). I washed the pan in warm soapy water.I plan to order another pan and double the recipe.

Great lift and even baking
I've had this pan for 4.5 years and I make popovers at least 3 times a month so I'd say I've used it around 175 times. It is beginning to stick but I feel it is because it has been scratched. I won't hesitate to buy another one just like it. FYI, to get the biggest lift, make sure your ingredients are room temperature or warmer and you preheat your oven. I warm my eggs in hot tap water for about 5 minutes and warm the milk.

You can always rely on USA Pans!
I have two popover pans, this one from USA Pans and another. When I make 1 dozen popovers, the 6 in the USA Pan always turn out the best. I am buying another USA popover pan today and tossing the other brand. I use either Stonewall Kitchen or King Arthur popover mix and both are very good. I often make these for guests - easy to make and they always impress. While more expensive than other brands, you can't go wrong with the quality of USA Pans. They will last for years and years without warping and they don't burn your food!

Doesn't stick the first time, but still doesn't stick after over a dozen uses
I've gone through a LOT of popover pans. Almost all of them work the first time, and the popovers come right out. However, after a few uses, the popovers stick.I've read lots of literature about how to use a popover pan. This includes the instructions which come with the pan. I am 99% sure that the failure with other pans is the fault of the pan, and not because I am doing something wrong. This pan is just as non-stick now as when I first bought it eighteen months ago. I make popovers at least once a month, so I've used it approximately eighteen times. It is clearly made of different material than the other pans, all of which were some sort of black surface.I highly recommend this pan.
