We have been so spoiled. My in-laws had a time share in Mexico and used to bring us HUGE bottles of vanilla back every time they went on vacation. When we run out it takes forever to get more. This is not the bitter, alcohol smelling, chemical filled vanilla extract you are used to buying in the grocery store. This makes EVERYTHING taste better. Cookies, pancakes, coffee - you name it - this stuff makes it taste better. This vanilla is very rich, almost buttery. The flavor is very full - think like vanilla bean ice cream. It is delicious! We were THRILLED when we found this to purchase online. No more waiting for the next Mexican vacation to get our fix!

I bought this when the price of the same size bottle of vanilla I usually buy at my local warehouse store reached $27 (up from $8 this time last year) and with the amount of baking I do, I figured I had little to lose exploring less expensive options. No, the flavor is not the same as what you're likely used to if you usually buy your vanilla extract in a US grocery store, but this is SO GOOD. I used it for the first time yesterday in a batch of simple vanilla cookies, and the flavor is spectacular. This is a rich, deep vanilla in both color and flavor, slightly sweet, buttery, with a hint of an almost coconutty flavor. For lighter recipes where your vanilla is there to enhance other flavors and not really be dominant, it might not be the best choice because it definitely stands up and makes its presence known. But for brown sugar cookie recipes, or anything where vanilla is the star, you have to give this a try.

I was gifted a bottle from Mexico tourists years ago and loved it! Was very glad to find this on this site. Flavor is so much better than the stuff in the grocery. You can taste the difference in puddings and cookies! ♥️

Love this vanilla, only real vanilla products in it, not artificial vanillin

The product itself is overpriced to start with $20!!!, The only thing that makes this a unique flavour/secret ingredient is a dash of COCONUT extract added( Which is NOT listed in the ingredient list). Nothing special about it! had i known i would have added this extra secret ingredient to regular vanilla extract and save $$. Not a fan of this additional flavour personally because the coconut extract overwhelms the vanilla flavour and takes over, my vanilla/coffee Frape tasted like coconut/coffee today.Update 2021: Just finished this bottle and actually has real vanilla seeds in it.

It smells soo good! I only bake with mexican vanilla! Everyone compliments my baking and I won't give away my secret. I've tried a few brands, but this is my favorite and my go to. The price is on point!
