I've had hairline cracks pop up in my shower tiles and used this stuff to fix in the damage.Applying the putty has certainly been a bit of trial and error on my part....when I saw the negative reviews I was dubious at first if this stuff actually works.....and it does...if done properly!In my case of the hairline cracks, initially I popped a THIN layer of the mixture on one tile and sanded it down after 24hrs.....this I found was the best method of application & I can hardly tell where the crack was in the first place!On the second tile, I'll admit that I popped the mixture on thicker.....the next day, the hardened mixture 'peeled' off, however for some part the mixture did seep into some areas....Little is best with this stuff, I'll certainly say its saved me the cost of replacing tiles!

The product works well. It mixes easily and is easy to apply. It starts very white but then turns a bit yellow after time (several months) - which was fine for us as we just wanted to extend the functionality of our steel bath which had damage from a object being dropped which exposed the steel. After about 18 months the repair started to come away so needed redoing.

There was a hairline crack in my shower tray. I used this product over the crack. Initially, it seemed to work. However, after a month or so, the crack was visible again (see photo). The product probably works better when used to fill in a deeper crack, into which it can worked. With a hairline crack, it spreads too thinly and didn't seem to make much difference. Once applied, its brighter colour stands out against the surface of the shower tray. Contrast is not too bad from a distance though.

In a myriad of similar products, I ordered this as it looked mostly like what I needed. I had a long 60cm hairline crack in the bottom of the shower tray that when anyone was having a shower water seeped through and dripped down from the ceiling below. It was worth trying this product and chance it that it would work instead of replacing the whole tray, the cost and the associated mess.I was surprised at how good it worked. The thing I was most worried about is that it would harden and crack after any pressure was put on but 2 months down the line it's still water tight.Mixing was easy, both pastes are white so make sure you spend time ensuring both pastes are mixed in. The resulting paste was almost the consistency of thick toothpaste, easy to spread and form. It is white but on my shower tray, it is no longer noticeable unless you look closely and I did put in a heavy coat.Very please with this and would certainly recommend.

I bought it to fix the tiny crack line on my shower tray. It works as described. Overall it's an easy application and you won't go wrong. But one thing I don't like is that it's a bit difficult to get the 1:1 ration of both components as there's no measurement tool provided. I just eyeballed it and it worked out fine eventually. Have to see if it will last.

The tile/shower repair kit was amazing, it has helped me some cracked tiles and also repair a chipped basin sink. The product was easy to use as along as you follow the instructions. Leave it to dry for 24 hours once you’ve applied it and then sand it with some course and fine sanding paper and it will look as if there was nothing there. Amazing product!
