I wore these boots entirely throughout weeks in the Alaskan wilderness. Knowing Hunter boots to be more of a “fashion/fancy” boot, I was a bit worried about how they would hold up. I am very glad to say that they held up flawlessly. These boots were taken up and down mountains, along rocky shores, treading through seaweed/seashell-covered tides, through calf-deep mud, through forests, climbed boulders, gripped well along algae-covered rocks, jumped along roots, and hiked what seems like endless miles of some of the roughest terrain I’ve been on, and not only did my feet stay completely dry, but they were the epitome of comfort! 2 others in my group were also wearing Hunter boots and I can say the exact same for them as well. We all had great success putting our Hunter boots through the ultimate test. I wore mine with the Hunter luxury shearling insoles along with a pair of merino wool socks, and the combination was astounding. My feet were always comfortable, dry, never hot, never cold, never achey, with this combination in my boot. I am normally a size 7.5, I sized up to an 8 so that I could have room with the shearling insole and wool socks and it was a perfectly comfortable fit in combination. All this said.. they also looked amazing with our hiking clothes. The height of the boot was perfect for staying comfortable in every situation. In every way, I recommend these boots!!

Boot was too narrow in the front. Otherwise material and rainproof were good.Why can't I return them to Wholefoods to return to Amazon as I did with my tall boots? Why UPS?Regards,Mary Rodriguez

No me duraron mucho donde vivo llueve muy poco, un mes al año y curiosamente a los 2 años ya se les mete el agua, la suela ya se resbala, estoy muy decepcionada porque tuve otras y me duraron 5 años sin q se les metiera el agua
