If you have a Bissell spot bot or small carpet cleaner this little tool is a must! It reverses the water flow back through the hose that goes into the used water tank. That hose gets nasty if it isn’t flushed out every time. It should be included with the machine but it isn’t so you need to buy this.

I'm all for putting tools away clean, but never considered cleaning the inside of my compact Bissell hose. I saw this offered online and decided to try it. What came through the hose into the dirty water reservoir proved that this attachment is in fact necessary to use after carpet cleaning. Perhaps the ridges in the hose are the reason so much filth gets caught in there, but this attachment does an amazing job at flushing it all out. I though it would spew water through the gaps at the top, but the suction takes care of that. I hold the hose up at the end of using it, and the grime instantly flushes in the dirty reservoir. You need this!

Our spot cleaner was starting to smell pretty bad. Cleaned it for a few cycles with this and it made a huge difference.
