I was previously told to buy the 5-ft version of this ramp but was not happy with it & returned it & purchased a different style of ramp. While that ramp was more attractive, it was very hard for me to back my husband up in a wheelchair. After causing back strain, I decided to buy a shorter 4-ft version of the original ramp & this is perfect! So much easier to wheel a chair down & back it up. Absolutely no back strain or problems. I would highly recommend this model! The weight capacity is 600 lbs. & we had no issues with both of us plus a wheelchair on this ramp. Very pleased!!

Ramp is sturdy and very useful.

I had to order this for my mother in law who broke her calf in 3 places. It worked perfectly to get her off the porch to the sidewalk. It is so easy to set up and fold back together. I order the 5 ft ramp.

I like that it's portable and comes in many sizes. I gave it #4 because there's nothing for the metal top to hook onto. The 2" to 3" poes fit through the holes but my one step is brick not wood. So husband finds a way to lie itdown so it doesn't slide off the brick step. It will slide in same direction the wheelchair is moving. I'm the patient who is fearful of falling off the ramp. I like the style and design. It might not work well for me, but for those with more steps than I have, it's looks like other homes can accommodate this type of ramp. When used right side up there's reflector stickers on it for night time. Just in case it's used in the street when it's dark outside. Turned right side upside down, the ramp has metal bars to make it more rigid, as to not fall apart. My ramp says it will hold up to 800#. I'm losing weight and am around 175#. I was never near 800#. From my feelings of going up and down on this ramp, my suggestion is DON'T use the smallest ramp. I'm thinking you just might turn the ramp in the wrong direction while on it. Measure your weight before buying a ramp. You can do this on the manufacturers' website.

There is a greater gab between the panels at the top than there is at the bottom. It came that way and no way to realign. It feels a bit rickety but it is suppose to be somewhat flexible, I use a walker and the weight for me and the walker is 240 lbs. It is stated that it can hold 800 lbs so I don’t think weight is the issue. If you have and the funds a 6 ft ramp might be better, it was ramping 2 fairly short steps in the house and the last foot of the ramp was a bit harder because it was a tad steeper at the end.

These ramps are quite sturdy and are very forgiving for various heights. ie: My previous selection stated a hard 7" rise and they actually measured 7.5". This made for a small but significant obstacle which caught the wheels causing a challenging transition from one surface to another. These work perfectly with a weight rating of 800 lbs. that will easily allow for additional people to aid in navigating the ramp smoothly up or down. Lightweight and easily transported and stored when not using.
