Nice, small, and loud, easy install

Our doorbell suddenly stopped ringing. After a lot of trial and error we discovered it was the 11 year old chime itself that was faulty. This replacement works perfectly and was easy to install.

Electric connection didn't work for BOTH front and back door. Also, doorbell is not as loud; Little disappointed.

I have a nest doorbell camera that started buzzing and randomly chiming when it was windy or cold outside. Part of the troubleshooting was to replace the chime box inside the house. This chime box was a perfect replacement piece. It’s nice that I did not have to buy a Google compatible time box as long as I checked the images to make sure the wiring match the one I had. I am mildly handy around the house and this was very easy to install.

Amazon states this item is frequently returned, and such was the case with us. This is an actual picture from an installation. Here's the details: Replaced a 1960s hard-wired doorbell (front & rear) with two Nest 2nd Gen wired doorbells. (These doorbells require the "chime connector puck"--stupid design on behalf of Google). We went with the "delicate style" model. The box and terminals spacing is non-existent. It took a few tries to get everything in. Cover would not fit, so removed & repositioned wiring. Painful. As soon as the cover went on the chime started buzzing instead of ringing. Checked wiring, checked for any obstructions on the tone bars... nothing. Chime worked fine without the cover, but as soon as the cover went on, the unit buzzed instead of chimed. Too much time spent on something that should be simple. Recommend finding a larger unit with more internal space for wiring.

Packaged perfectly and solid product. This was easy to install and looked great even without the cover. Sound was way better than our old chime box. Very much worth the upgrade.

Our old door bell gave out. Of coarse we thought it was just the outside push for bell but it was not that easy..Off to Amazon ww went to find a replacement for our wired inside box. This was an easy install with a nice looking outer box and had a front and back door feature but we only require the front door bell. Nice distinct sound and a good price!
