Glass is very heavy but built sturdy! Love the measurements on the glass

It fits perfect on the vase of my kitchen aid. I like it better than the metal one that came with my kitchen aid. Th pour spout on the side makes it do much easier when pouring. It is heavier than the metal so if you have problems lifting just be aware.

2 days into my annual holiday cookie baking extravaganza, my Kitchen Aid bowl cracked and while skeptical, I immediately ordered this in a panic. It arrived the next day and was perfect! I could not tell the difference between this and the original as the bowl is a thick, sturdy glass with amazing quality and performance. It is also a fraction of the price.. Highly recommend.

I have the Artisan KSM150PS0B that was purchased 20 years ago. I took all the comments to heart before purchasing and have been using often to test before my 30 day return window arrives.Bowl arrives very cloudy. After first wash in the dishwasher, it was clear.No difficulty attaching to stand. Like my metal bowls, standard blade touches bowl.Wanted the bowl for some recipes that required the microwave.It is very heavy which concerns me as I age.

I like my purchase, had been wanting one for a long time and just couldn’t justify the expense. Glad I found this one at half the usual price. My only problem is I did not really realize how heavy it would be with a big pound cake mix in it. I still use it but it is a struggle to hold it up and scrap out a mixture. I do think it is a good bowl, as my grandson says I am just old and weak.

You will think oh my is this going to fit? But yes it will fit your Kitchen Aide stand mixer. It’s a large bowl and sits high but I can now make a double batch of cookies easily without having to get out my larger kitchen aid mixer. This clear bowl allows me to make sure all the ingredients are combined and it’s a solid glass bottom so you won’t need to replace it like a metal bowl if bends and moves and won’t sit on the mount of the mixer(talking from experience.) You will love this bowl.

The bottom of the bowl (compared to the original Kitchenaid Bowl) sits too tall, meaning attachments will hit the bottom of the bowl. This would normally not be a problem since I know that you can adjust the head to be further up. However, the bottom of the bowl is about 0.5" taller than the original kitchenaid, meaning that adjusting the head high enough to clear the bowl will result it not being able to lock down.This may not affect you as your machine tolerances could be different from mine, but do yourself a favor and just go to your local big box store and buy the kitchenAid glass bowl for a bit more (or in my case, the same price).

This clear glass bowl replaced a smaller stainless steel one that came with our kitchenaid mixer. It fits perfectly and locks securely into the base of the mixer. The slightly larger capacity and clear glass are welcome improvements while mixing ingredients for pastries and other recipes.
