It looks classy and it is exactly as it appears in the picture.

I had bought a similar one in silver for myself, and when I saw them in gold I had to buy one for my daughter. She is changing her kitchen accents to gold, and this fits in perfectly. the quality is good. It is hard to tell from the photos, but it is a shiny finish. It's not a very heavy gauge metal, but not too thin either. The edges are smooth on the bowl and the spoon.
