Almost left 4 stars, but Govee’s customer service is too good. I got these lights for my office in the basement. Set up is fairly easy, even if it’s probably more of a 2 person job if you don’t want to have your legs wrapped in lights and trash. The adhesive is really strong, haven’t had any issues at all. The lights themselves are impressive. Whether it be a solid color, a fade setting, blinking, etc. I haven’t seen it struggle with anything yet. Also, the app lets you make your own light settings which is cool. Has flawlessly worked with Alexa, but the remote has worked nicely too. My office is maybe 15x12, and one box of 100ft lit up the space really well. Only issue was that, while putting up the first of the 2 strings, a section of the string turned green even though the string wasn’t turned on. When I turned the string on, that section stayed green. I reached out and sent a picture to Govee, and they gave me some troubleshooting tips that I tried, but unfortunately they didn’t work. To my surprise, Govee sent me a completely new replacement set! Can’t beat customer service like that.

Igrabbed the Govee 100ft RGBIC LED Strip Lights to light up my living space, and honestly — these are 🔥. Setup was super simple (no headache cords or confusing instructions), and the included adhesive sticks really well without falling off. The length is awesome — you can run these around your whole room, behind your TV, under shelves, or wherever you want ambient lighting. The RGBIC feature means multiple colors can shine at once instead of all the lights doing the same color, which looks WAY more dynamic and cool. The app is intuitive: tons of presets, music sync, timers, and custom color options. I use the music mode often and it reacts fast — great vibe for chill nights or parties. Great light strips, I've always had cheap strips and decided to splurge on these. Very good choice. These lights are surprisingly bright and the adhesive works great. These lights are true to their color, you ask for white you get white, not some bluish white. Definitely worth the purchase, I wouldn't even bother with any of Govee's nicer (more expensive) lights. One star taken off because I am not a fan of the remote, you get some tiny 3 button remote that youre forced to adhere to the wall. I am not very happy I'm forced to download their app, but their app has a decent design and isn't frustrating to use. I don't dislike the app, though upon first use it can be confusing 4 photos attached for those undecided, set to a darkish red & then white for comparison.

These RGBIC lights are amazing. The colors are bright and smooth, and I love that you can show multiple colors at once. The app control is amazing its super easy to use and lets you change colors adjust brightness set timers and pick from different effects.

the width of the LED strip is about 10mm I installed the LED strip between slats on artica sonolok panels, it fit in the space perfectly the adhesive was strong and stuck well on the felt like backing of the panels the LED is working well and the app works as well. no issues with bluetooth or wifi connectivity. I was able to recess the LED on the ceiling panel so it looks nice. the light is not too bright so its more for mood setting, I would not use it for lighting needs.

Govee has never failed me. Just one tiny issue after buying three of these. The Govee light strip has always been my go-to. This was the third one I have bought, more rooms more lights right? Govee always has the nicest packaging with every product I have bought. It comes secured in a box and never damaged. They also include setup guides for first time buyers or just ease of use. Key Features & Performance: - Main features: Two 50ft reels of RGB lights, power, and a manual switch. - Ease of use: Very easy to setup and stick anywhere you need. The app is a game changer, especially with any other smart devices you have. - Any surprises: The two reels is best to use if you start in opposite directions from the origin points. If you find you have extra, you can cut where you need too and the strip will still light up! Pros & Cons: ✅ Pros: - The many color options and features included in the app - The community behind Govee is always amazing to see. Some people are so creative with the custom colors/designs you can create through the app. One click and you can change the entire vibe of a room. ❌ Cons: - After time the stick might wear off and fall. Easy to fix with adhesive, and right back to normal! Will always buy Govee, as long as they keep cranking out awesome products!

ok I'm completely updated my review. I originally rated it as 1 star I'm changing it to 5 based on the fact these lights ARE fixable... I have the 65ft ones and the 100ft ones... during install one half on my 65foot ripped...now I know everyone says that they can't be fixed but THEY CAN. you need a very specific 4 pin connector (ONLY for the 65 foot, 100 feet is a 3 pin connnector) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09DY6KLK2?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 I don't know if the link will work but THIS is the type of 4 pin connector you need... now you may lose some length but you need to cut right at the edge of the copper (oval) connectors..DO NOT cut the copper cut past it, do the same on the part you want to connect (depending on what side you're on make sure the ends match opposite, like if you have the right side clipped then you need to have the left side clipped of the attaching piece... now with those clippys... instead of having the clip latch facing you and on the same side as the copper connectors, the clips need to face the back so that the conductive wire is on the same side as the copper make sure the pins puncture the copper.... I don't know if the little right angle pieces included work but the clips WILL make the 65ft 4 pin strips work full functionality. Now onto the adhesive issue... especially with the 100 ft at first the adhesive was NOT sticking at all.... I realized my walls have oil based paint... those lil alcohol swabs they give you aren't gonna cut it... you need 91% isoporolol alcohol you need to strip the wall of that top silky layer of paint (it doesn't really change the color, just lightens it slightly you can tell where you wiped so be precise) but wipe down where you want the strip to be and LET IT DRY, it should feel kinda tacky, the strips will stick to that...do small sections at a time and press the strip as you go... I did 3 rooms like this after the strip originally didn't want to stick at all. All in all the lights are actually awesome...yes they are a bit fragile during install and I have noticed that at least the 65ft does FAINTLY stay on (it's literally a pinprick of light in a few) and during install of the 100 foot if you touched that little black sensor? that is every few inches it would cause the lights to come on faintly while they were powered off but as long as you aren't touching them they don't come on. They aren't perfect and I definitely wouldn't pay full price for them but they go on sale enough that they're worth it. wifi connection was smooth, alexa intergretion is ok but they don't play nice with alexa routines, other than off and on. the govee app is a bit complicated on the customizing side, there's a bit of a learning curve but it's not bad either...Will update in a month or so or sooner if something happens and I may try to upload a video if my explanation of the clips was bad
