A learning experience
This part fit and worked very well although I would caution buyers to make sure your remote has all the features required . Mine did not and as a result would not activate any of the features on this receiver. I ordered the proper remote and all went very well from there.(Wish I had just ordered them as a set right off, would have been cheaper......my bad ! ) :-)

Not as good as the original (which seems no longer available)
I'm not sure if this situation is unique, but, in 2 instances now the receivers have stopped accepting commands from the hand held remote.At first they seem to work as advertised, after a while the fan light flickers during fan operation with the light off. after a period of that non normal activity, the receiver stops reacting to commands of light on or off.On another unit (same type) the receiver stops accepting any commands from the remote hand held unit.

Could not use with oru fan and had to return it.
