Astrology of the Seers: A Guide to Vedic/Hindu Astrology

Fantastic book for those who have questions google does not have the answers to! a must read for all astrologers and even simply curious minds of modern times. Dr Frawley is absolutely outstanding talent who takes the reader to an adventure of knowledge, depth and spirituality in order to learn of ourselves and our starry origin.

A wonderful in depth composite of Dr. Frawley's spiritual research, experience, and knowledge of the Vedic Hindu mythos which are the powerful experiences of the ancient researchers we call seers, those who took the time for daily practice and personally experienced the spiritual energy we can all come to better understand through learning astrology, its symbolisms, its timing of various transits through the astrological chart, and building a better philosophy of life and living a better, more fulfilling life.

Wonderful book for beginners, although not as comprehensive as Light on Life, by de Fouw/Svoboda. Astrology of Seers is still very much worth purchasing. It has some historical insights into Jyotish not covered in other books as a wonderful section on the psychological value of Vedic astrology. He also has a nice introduction into remedials. While he does give chart examples at the end of the book, I have to say that book is not suffcient to prepare you for reading a chart (thus the 4 stars). But it is a good tool for the beginner and is better than other books I've read.

Excellent introduction to Vedic astrology. The BEST part of this book that I have not found in others is a Glossary of Vedic terms. The Vedic terms are a huge obstacle to learning, and Dr. Frawley did what any outstanding teacher would do and made the content student-focused. Whew! Now I can progress more quickly. Thank you Dr. Frawley!

As a student of Astrology for over thirty years, this guide is much more condensed and easier to understand than any other I have seen thus far. I recommend it as a good introduction. Dr Frawley's presentation is excellent.

This book is absolutely great. My mothertongue is not english and yet the language and writing style of the author allows me to comprehend and understand the basics of vedic astrology. The clear, logic and simple words the author is using hrlped me s lot to understand. Great book!!!!!

D'abord attirée par une curiosité toute justifiée ayant rencontré une personne qui m'a relaté mon avenir avec une précision effarante en 2008 au Sri-Lanka et sans aucune retenue et cela devant tout le monde. Celle-ci m'a presque fait croire que les Oracles des temps modernes pouvaient exister ... ! Et évidemment j'avais envie d'en avoir le cœur net et ensuite suivant les conseils des acheteurs, j'a fait l'acquisition de ce livre ! Certes rédigé en Anglais mais l'essentiel est là et facile d'accès ! Juste après la fin de lecture de ce dernier et j'ai en ai acheté un autre, immédiatement ! Achat recommandé pour les curieux ou autres ... :-) !
