7-Port USB 3.0 Hub with Individual Power Switches and LED Lights, High-Speed Data Hub Splitter Portable USB Extension Hub for PC Laptop and More (No Power Adapter)

7-Port USB 3.0 Hub purchased from shoplease is working perfectly. I only have 3 items plugged in, a mouse, a keyboard and a printer, but it seems to be a great value for the money. I have not hopped around and checked all the Usb ports, yet, but the 3 I have are working fine. If you are looking for a port with a lot of versatility, as in occasional moving around, you may need to look for one with a longer cable? I am using a 25ft extension cable and mounted this unit under my desk, with easy enough access to add or remove as required. The compact size was important for my use. The build quality is probably not the toughest, maybe for travel? But seems it will work great for a stationary set up. Yes, as others have noted: it does not come with the 5v power cable (which seems kinda funny that there are no recommended options to purchase???)... This power cable, or should I say, lack there of, is most likely why it may only slowly or not "charge" your other components, ie: cell phones, etc.

Functions very well, made a difference on receipt.

I got this to charge my shop flashlights and cabinet lights. This is not a fast charger, so don't expect it to fully charge anything in an hour or so... Its pretty slow, but for me, that's ok, I usually plug in everything at the end of my day. The cord length is only about a foot long, and its a USB plug, so it has to be pretty close to a USB port, again, for me, not a deal breaker, I plug it in right next to the power strip, but just know the cord is short. The 7 ports is great, so there is plenty of room to plug all kinds of things in, and the ports all have their own on/off button, don't forget to turn it on. Its pretty light weight and seems portable, it'll fit into a laptop bag I think or a carry on. It is USB 3.0, that is not FAST, like a 3.2, so large files will take a min to transfer. I think this will work out fine if your not looking for fast charge or fast file transfer, it works for me.

Love how many ports there are and great for just about everything.

I’ve bought so many hubs before but this one is really exceptional and that it works. It literally works. And I am so grateful for that.

Given the current reduction in available ports this is a welcome addition. Yes, it is someone cumbersome but it is not used all the time. It is great if you are trying to search through numerous drives though...I like it.

I powered ti with a power supply I already had here. All good so far. 7-Ports: It worked fine for about 3-weeks then one port stopped recognizing a flash drive being plugged in. I figured I'd keep it as I only really needed 5--ports. 6-Ports: A few days after that another one lost the will to live and foolishly I did not return it at that time as I still had 5-Ports available. 5-Ports: The next 2 to fail did just that a few days latert, both on the same day. 3-Ports: They cascaded in sequence from the farthest from the input-cable end of the body. It was like the data was getting tired having to travel all the way to the end. :) Now I am well out of the Return window so in the trash it goes. That's 18-bucks down the drain. YMMV.

Excellent little bit of kit to have. Every house should have one.
