Stylish tea pot
Nice, heavy tea pot, very clean lines, almost steam-punk looking. It fits in well with my new black appliances, and has a matte finish with a copper ornamentation stamped into the side . Looks much more expensive than it actually was, and holds a very good amount of water, which heats up quickly. I have yet to burn my hand on the handle while pouring the water out, which is not only a relief, but quite uncharacteristic for me. Would recommend to a friend, or repurchase (if necessary).

Pretty and functional
I wanted a tea kettle that is teal to match my decor. I plan to display it on my stove. The bottom is teal and blends into aqua at top. It has a loud whistle, the handle stays cool and it’s a great price.

Beautiful and well made.
Such a nice look, and heavy bottom so it won’t get burnt! Just right size for one or two people.

Use with induction
I love the size, look and functionality of the pot. My only upset is that it doesn’t work real well on my induction cooktop. Not sure if it’s the metals in the base or what. It will heat but not on high or if it’s full . It’s also slower than my other induction pieces.

Class and function
I love this kettle. It looks just as good as the day I bought it. The classy appearance fits in with my decor. I do not mind the few extra minutes I spend waiting for the water to boil because I follow the manufacturers recommendations to empty the kettle at night and turn on the gas without letting the flame scorch the sides. If one takes care of their stuff, it will be there to take care for your needs.

Not induction compatible
Despite what's stated in the description, this kettle will NOT work with an induction stove. Tried affixing a few magnets to the bottom of it as soon as I pulled it out of the box to see if it would be compatible and not one of them stuck. Item itself is gorgeous, the right size, and very well made, but if it won't work with the solar-powered induction burner I use off-grid (via a pure sine wave inverter and huge lithium-ion battery), it's useless. That being said, if I had bought this for use with a gas stove, I would have been thrilled with it and would have happily given it five stars.

This will absolutely whistle - make sure the lid is on tight.
After eons of using an electric kettle, (and it finally died), I went back to a stove kettle and I just really liked the look of this one. I saw reviews that said it didn't whistle, and I had the same issue the first two times I used it (boils just fine, though!) and then the third time my husband filled it for me and put it on the stove and it whistled like it was going out of style. I said, "What did you do different??" and he shrugged and just showed me what he did. I noticed when he put the lid on, he pushed it into place until it made a light satisfying snap. I've done it this way ever since and it whistles every time. This kettle works great and is beautiful. I only boil enough for my coffee (or whatever) and then I empty it and put it back on the burner (that I have turned off) and leave the lid off. It will dry on the residual heat. I have had this kettle for a year now and it looks brand new - no rust, no fuss.[One word of caution - when you use a boil-kettle MAKE SURE the lid is on tight when you pour it. I personally use two fingers of my non-pouring hand to hold the lid in place (it shouldn't fall off, but this is just a safety precaution) by placing them on the little black plastic lid-handle as I hold the kettle with my other hand and pour. Long ago with a different kettle far far away, I poured hot boiling water and the lid popped off and my hand holding this other kettle got instantly par-boiled from the steam that gushed upward. I have ALWAYS poured 2-handed when using kettles ever since that day.]

Love the look of the kettle
Great kettle. Pretty enough to leave sitting on the stove top. .
