Original OEM is best
I tried a couple aftermarket water pumps, and ended up sending both of them back and wasting my time. Bottom line is Quicksilver is OEM, and is the best quality. I've never had problems with fit or parts wearing out prematurely. You get what you pay for, and clearly Quicksilver brand is the best.

Has been a great replacement so far. All parts were good quality. Motor is back in the water and running very well. Very strong “pee” stream from the motor.
