The color of wood is beautiful, and the drawer opens smoothly. It's easy to take it out and back in and all the marbles fit in like a glove. The board always fits back in it box nicely and it doesn't take up much space on the shelf. A good quality board game for a classic game for the family, Yellow Mountain never disappoints in quality.

I love this style of Chinese checkers and was looking for a set which had certain specs. I wanted a wooden game board, I wanted it to have a drawer to hold the marbles when not in use and I wanted glass marbles. All of these wants were a deal breaker for me if they weren’t part of the set. This set has all of those must-haves, and it’s a pretty set. It is slightly smaller than I initially would have liked but I’ve gotten used to the size and I’ve played with this set dozens of times, and will continue to play with it.

I want to get a set after playing with a friend, and this set was really nice.The marbles are a pit similar so it’s hard to see the different colors.It’s still a great set and a great value

When I got this game board and opened the package, it came out in pieces. The sides were, apparently, not glued together very well at the factory. It was easy to put together with some wood glue, but some people might not enjoy having to put together a game that should not have been in pieces.With that being said, the materials it is made of are surprisingly good, and once I had it put together I have no doubt it is sturdy and can last for many games. The drawer is not too tight or too loose, but that may be because I was able to take my time adjusting the guides inside the board that the drawer slides between.All of the marbles were in the package, plus an extra of each color. Several reviews said it was hard to tell the colors apart, and I found that to be correct. It would be nice if the colors inside the marbles were brighter so they would be easier to tell apart. The marbles were all in good shape.Instructions were included, but it's Chinese Checkers, so it shouldn't be hard to figure out...well, it shouldn't be, but I had to read the instructions because it has been 20 years since the last time I played the game!I took off one star because I had to glue it together, and another star because the marble colors are hard to see, but I added one star back because the board itself seems to be made of good materials.

Just beautiful and nice quality for the price! We were pleasantly surprised! The drawer is perfect for keeping the marbles in and slides in and out easily while being snug enough to stay in place! We love it!
