Protein Packed Beans!
Somos makes some of the best packet food you can buy and these saucy pinto beans are no different! I grew up eating most of my beans out of a can since I never have enough time to soak dry beans overnight to cook the next day. These packets of beans are even easier than that! Just 90 seconds in the microwave and you have a delectable addiction to any meal. These packets have a whopping 37g of protein too per packet which is excellent! That tells me they haven't filled this with excess ingredients since most of the calories you're getting are coming from the protein. At around $23 these are a bit on pricey end ($3.89 per packet), but with the convenience of being able to pop these in the microwave whenever you feel like it, I think the price is worth it and I'd happily buy it again.

Nice meal addition, but overpriced
Beans are quite cheap, so for $23 I think these are incredibly overpriced. They are a nice, easy addition to meals though. I do think they could use a bit more spices, but it's okay as is.

I love these beans
They are perfect for a quick burrito. They aren't super spicy so I can add hot sauce. The flavor on their own is wonderful.

i was buying these all the time, loving them. then at the end of march 2023 (a couple months ago) i ordered and they were not all the way cooked, more thin juice than beans, and the beans were fairly hard, not the great flavor as usual.this makes me skeptical of buying more.

These beans taste so good my daughter took them to college!
We have them on hand all the time. They are great as a stand alone with a tortilla (and some cheese, we aren't plant-based) or (my favorite) in a breakfast burrito with eggs. The prep is so easy, my daughter requested them in her care package and microwaves them in her dorm room.We ordered a salsa and chips kit from their main website and absolutely LOVE them. Very authentic. Would love to be able to order the kit through Amazon as well.
