Good Quality
Update: I'm buying a second grinder with a 25% off coupon. Such a good value! I've been using daily for the past month and I LOVE this grinder.*****This little grinder is good quality. Things to know:1. It performs well and feels solid and ergonomic in the hand. Grinding is slowish but steady without too much noise. The burr mechanism itself is stainless steel as opposed to plastic with partial stainless steel, so it seems durable and long-lasting. I hope the charger lasts. So far so good. Very handy to not have to deal with another countertop appliance!2. It has 11 visible grind settings on the ticker but don't fret - to get to the 45 grind settings advertised, you need to crank like 4 times around. Personally, I like fine grinds, so tick clockwise til to the max. for super fine grinds, and counterclockwise to the max if you prefer coarse grinds. 😉3. I fill the dispenser to the top with beans, no need to measure or weigh unless you are a professional barista. If you fill the compartment, you'll get enough grounds for a generous mug of coffee. Don't buy this grinder if you expect to produce grounds for several people at once.4. I love that container for grounds screws onto the device which means less risk for making an accidental mess.5. I also love the twist to lock into place feature so you know when you are clear to commence grinding.6. I like the location of the power button and charging plug on the top of the device. Less interference or whatever, it just makes sense.7. A bit more expensive than other portable brands priced to get your attention, but on balance realize that this is 4 times less than the top-of-line brands that produce the same quality grinds. This is good value without the hype.Overall, thing gadget gives me great joy, thus compelling me to take the time to write this review. Hope this helps anyone who might be on the fence. Just buy it.

Totally worthless after a few uses
I purchased this grinder to use while traveling. I've taken it out a few times and it worked great the first three or four times I used it. I've now officially spent more time trying to fix it than grinding coffee. I've experienced many of the similar complaints as other reviews: the plastic outer sleeve is loose, the locking mechanism for the top and bottom doesn't work right. Now it grinds for a second and then the body rotates and it shuts off. There's nothing more frustrating than trying to make a cup of coffee in the morning and being unable to grind the beans, I don't recommend this grinder at all.

The best little coffee grinder I've tested
I just want to say that the review that I'm posting says everything everything that needs to be said about this little powerful coffee grinder. I have seven coffee grinders getting returned junk. I think for $42 with the discount you can't go wrong I may buy a second testing one more out on Thursday and we'll know.1. It performs well and feels solid and ergonomic in the hand. Worked great for 6 months
The grinder worked great for 6 months. The metal motor which mates to the bottom half of the grinder wore out the metal flange and no longer works properly.

Quite small, but works well.
I've started to buy whole bean coffee and it was time to upgrade from a blade grinder. I make a single 16 oz cup of coffee each morning using an Aeropress, so I thought this would be perfect for it. Turns out I have to split the beans into two small batches as the grinder is very small. But it grinds that small amount fairly quickly so it's not that much of a hassle. I do very much like the small footprint of the grinder. The grind is adjustable and grind results are a very uniform size which is what I was looking for. EDIT - 7 months later, it suddenly made a strange noise and stopped. When I unscrewed the bottom I found that the grind unit had completely come apart. After pulling it out of the partly ground coffee beans I have 7 separate metal parts. I am going to try to figure out how to put it back together as nothing appears broken. Unfortunately the manual does not contain an exploded drawing of the grind unit.

Amazing grinder - got stripped after a year
I used this a few times a week consistently over a year and it worked great. Was a little loud, but ground good espresso in 5-10 seconds. Then the axle where the battery turned the grinder got stripped and now it doesnt work at all. It was great while it lasted, but no longer lasts
