Pad Assembly for Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500/S1500M/N1800/fi-6110

I was skeptical that changing the roller and the pad assembly would fix a misfeed on my scanner (which is at least 10 years old !) but sure enough it made it like new and started feeding again without a problem. Expensive for what it is, but really cheap when it make a scanner work like new.

I popped this into my Fujitsu S1500 scanner and it worked fine. This part is a consumable and should be replaced every 50,000 pages or so of scanning, because otherwise the friction of the paper eventually wears down the rubber and gives occasional paper jams. I would recommend replacement after 40,000 pages. Get several of them, because the S1500 scanner is an older model, and that means at some point the consumables may be hard to find. There may be some way to glue some rubber from a rubber band to the this part so that the extra rubber wears down instead, but I haven't tried that.

It was difficult to get in place, but eventually I did make it fit on my Scansnap S500. Sometimes it doesn't feed pages as well as it should and I have to tap the top of the document stack. But it got rid of the dreaded double-feeding issue which is great. In case anyone is in the same boat as me and wants to scan documents without worrying about double-feeding while waiting on this new pad to arrive, I found a trick to help me. If you take your existing pad assembly and using a regular pencil eraser rub them down really well, it stopped double feeding for me for the next 500 pages or so each time I did it. I hope this helps someone.

Easy to remove and install, and much less expensive on amazon. These are consumable parts along with the pick roller that must be replaced every so often on our Fujitsu Scan Snap scanner. Since they are much less expensive on amazon, we order a few at a time, and keep them on hand. (We have 8 scanners in our office that use these).

The consumables are the con. Wish it was designed a little different. Ive went through 6 of these bad boys in the last year. Kinda pricy

I used these at a hospital that I work at for our fi-6110 scanners. They were easy to change out and use. I will purchase these pads again.

This was a secondary market item. It did not fit into the scanner. And top make it worst, I was charged $15 to return the item. Really!!!! Not happy with product nor with Amazon at this point. I was able to purchase original for a few dollars more. And what's worst I did not have use of my scanner

Old ScanSnap 1500 (over 100,000 sheets scanned) wasnt feeding paper properly - lots of fails and multiple sheets. Replacement of the pad assembly (the rubbery bits of which had worn flat) fixed it. Prompt arrival from Japan too.

購入後約７年経過したところ、紙の吸い込みがもたつくようになりました。特にレシートなどの幅の細い書類が斜めになってしまいしわも付くので、買い替えも考え始めたところ、ダメもとで交換部品の安い方のこのユニットを試してみることにしました。 パッドユニット交換後は、斜めの給紙も発生せず安定して使用できるようになりました。 交換時の総スキャン枚数は15,000枚程度なのでゴムの摩耗は確認できませんでしたが、紙を抑える能力は経年劣化していたようです。

重なりや紙詰まりが頻発していたのが、パッドを交換した途端嘘のように改善しました 漫画本の電子化作業中トレイにすこしずつ載せなければならなかったのがガバっと置いてほったらかしにしても紙詰まりしないので 作業効率が上がりストレスなく電子化できるようになりました。 パッドがすり減ったと思ったらためらわず交換しましょう。

2020年5月に2090円で購入。 中古で買ったS1500は10500円で、言ってしまえば部品一つにしては相当高いと感じる。 まあしかし、用紙送りが毎回エラーになるストレスフルな状況だったので仕方ない。 交換してみると、古い方はゴム部分が擦り減って半分以下の薄さになっていた。 その後、用紙送りは改善されたので満足。 最も、当初からあった異常な発熱によりローラー部が溶けて壊れてしまったのだが。

ScanSnap S1500 の交換用の部品です。 このパットでローラー側に紙を押しつけて1枚づつ送る構造です。 交換の目安は50000枚とされていますが60000枚を超えても 特に問題はありませんでした。 65000枚を超えた位からゴムの部分が磨耗したためかローラーに 紙が当たらず空回りが起きるようになりました。 今回は70000枚で交換しました。 当然のことですが使用環境によって差があります。 重送やローラーの空回りが頻発するようになったら交換しましょう。 値段も高くはありませんので予備で持っておくといいでしょう。 ただし売れ筋商品の交換部品のため品薄になりがちです。 私の場合、到着するまで数週間かかりました。 交換のタイミングは様子を見ながら早めに決めるように注意して おきましょう。 あわてて注文してもすぐには届かない状況が考えられます。 FUJITSU ピックローラユニット 0637831 FUJITSU ScanSnap S1500 FI-S1500
