Great quality tent!
I went camping for a week on the river in December. It was relatively easy to put up by myself and I am 5'4 130 lb. It probably took an hour to set the tent up and get everything set up inside. The center pole was a bit of a challenge because the fabric is a little heavy when the floor is nailed down. I had to sit and use my legs to push the center pole the rest of the way to center but I was successful. The temps dropped to 28 a couple nights. I also had a whole night where it rained really heavy along with strong wind gusts. Not a drop of rain in my tent, and just a little shaking but the lashings held really well. The whole tent was well made right down to the zippers. Heat retention was alot more than a regular poly tent, but I still had to use two heaters because I couldnt close the vents in the top. There are a few flaws I would love to see remedied. One is the vents in the top you cant get to from the inside. You need to go outside and have a long pole or something to try to push the fabric down. There is nowhere to tie fairy lights or something similar up which would be really useful for people that like more light in their tent. The gaps between zippers (different zippers for the door and the side walls) are big enough to let in insects. There are also some stitching flaws. The stove hole stitching is off on the roof.I definitely have respect for this tent. I believe you can actually live in this thing long term and I bought the brown PU coated fabric which keeps it dry and keeps people from seeing all but the faintest light from outside.

Held up great during rain and wind
I bought this to use for Burning Man 2023 because I wanted something that I'd be able to have a full size mattress in and also be able to stand up to get dressed and what not. The product was a little later than expected when shipping but it came just in time. It is on the heavy side, I can't lift it by myself without really struggling, so it might not be the best for those looking for something lightweight or that doesn't take up a lot of space, but it fit what I needed. We were given a small space to set it up in so we weren't able to set it up exactly as it's intended to be but it still had a lot of space inside. It held up great during the really windy days and when it rained for 2 days the canvas proved to be extremely weather proof. We did have some leaking/pooling of water inside that came through the zippered windows but I think that was due to the fact that we couldn't set it up properly so the side walls were sagging. I think if the walls were straight there would have been little to no water inside at all. The canvas ceiling did feel damp to the touch from the inside, and we would occasionally feel like a mist come through during especially hard rains, but the floor held up incredibly well for being directly on top of some really wet mud. It kept us incredibly dry compared to some of my friends with regular tents. The first time setting it up was a little tricky but I think if I had to set it up again it would be a lot easier the second time. I'm not sure where else I would use this as it does take a lot of space to set it up properly but overall it did great.

Great Quality Canvas Tent
This tent is high quality! The fabric making the top of the tent is thick and durable. The base of the tent’s interior is also very thick and highly durable. The entire tent is water resistant, however be mindful of completely closing the entire bottom zipper and of the terrain you set-up on as water can get inside your tent if it is not sealed properly. All zippers including those for the small windows have good traction. This tent is an all-season camping tent and thus far has withstood a couple of strong thunderstorms without any indication of damage, major flooding, or loosening from it’s post.Should you be deciding on this tent… it is a great investment for the price.Highly recommend!

Tour the outside and inside
The media could not be loaded. I LOVE this yurt/tent. I purchased the 16’ size just for me. I’m camping in the outdoors during the winter for an extended period of time while I work remotely so it is perfect for me.First morning after setup, got a rain welcome and boy - this yurt held up greatly. The damp material did not leak inside the tent… however, the seam lines of the tent on the exterior were the channels that led water in. After the material dried, about a week later, a massive rainstorm came through… I mean flooding & everything and I was dry as a bone… best sleep of my life. It rained for about 3 days and by day 3 I noticed the same issue. It’s an extremely easy fix that starts with setting up your tent correctly. You need to put your back into it and make sure your guidelines are tight, not creating any creases so rain water cannot pool at the seams and get inside.Besides that, it’s been great! I notice that while the sun is out uninhibited by clouds… heat does not permeate through the material- I have to physically open the panels and windows to allow sunlight in to warm up the inside of the yurt. With that said, I’m looking forward to summer camping.I do regular maintenance to keep the yurt looking fresh from dust, bird droppings, tree sap, spiderwebs and spiders. I use a ceiling fan cleaner and that does the trick. I wait this all is dry (no moisture or mist layering on the material) to dust it off. I also purchased and have in use the black tarp that goes underneath the footprint of the yurt. It works great. I didn’t buy the rain fly in time but I do recommend it to keep the material in pristine condition.Set up was super easy and done by one person. I bought heavy duty tent steaks to beef up what came with this yurt. I used a mallet to get those into the ground. Can’t wait to buy a camping stove but for now I am using the camping stove panel to wire the propane hose through ti the inside while I keep my propane tank outside. The velcro system works really well.UPDATE: material on the flap for the roof pipe vent is highly flammable. The design of it does not allow it to be rolled away to leave clearance for the pipe not to touch the flap. The opening in the flap is spacious but the flap itself doesn’t latch open at all… I had to engineer it to Velcro it open in an odd way - it’s like the roof flap was designed to stay closed even with the Velcro, there’s no way to keep it open. So even though I managed to manipulate the flap to stay open, over time it managed to touch the hot pipe- the pipe was covered with heat resistant material and the flap on the yurt still burned. That shows the material is HIGHLY flammable since it only made contact with the heat resistant band which was double wrapped around the metal vent pipe of my tent stove. I was watching it like a hawk, and every few minutes I’d get up to check and it still burned. Thankfully I caught it… it burned from the point of contact in a crease. I didn’t smell it much because not a lot of it burned when I caught it. It didn’t burst into flames… the heat consumed the material without much odor or smoke or ignition of any sort. Had I not been watching it, it could have been catastrophic even deadly.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT IF YOU PLAN ON HAVING A TENT STOVE THAT REQUIRES A PIPE VENT.Design is not safe for intended use.
