Fairy Tales Rosemary Repel Daily Kids Conditioner– Kids Like the Smell, Lice Do Not, 8 fl oz. (Pack of 1)

When my daughter was 3, one of her classmates brought lice to school. My kiddo was great pals with her, so of course my kiddo brought home lice.I went to Google and learned about Rosemary shampoo, and then went to the beauty supply store for anti-lice shampoos. The kind man there pointed me towards Fairy Tales and we’ve never looked back.My oldest is now 9, and we have been using Rosemary Repel for over 6 years. It is gentle on kid hair but cleans well. It smells good but not too fakey-perfumey. And, after that pre-school incident, we have never had lice come home again even though there have been other infestations in both my kids’ classes.I even use this shampoo on my own hair, and it keeps my hair shiny and soft but also super-clean. We use the corresponding conditioner and but it here in bulk once or twice a year. After decades of bouncing among hair care regimens, I now have one that works for me AND the kiddos!

I didn't catch lice so I can't say anything in this review in regards to a lice problem. I bought this conditioner and the Fairytale shampoo as a precaution because I worked by someone who had lice.I'm in my 60's, male and some how I still have thick longer hair. I've used many brands through out life. When my hair dries after using both products, my hair feels noticebly soft. I let the conditioner stay on my hair for a few minutes and rinsed it with warm water. I get comments about the looks and the feel of my hair.Even though it sells for lice probelems I think it's excellent to use to have healthy looking long or short hair. I still have them in unarked bottles to not alarm any vistor that may use my bathroom.

Peace of mind to help keep the lice away. I use the condition spray on shoulders as well. Doesn't smell bad either and nautral

ABSOLUTLEY LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! I USE THE SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER ON MY 6 YEAR OLD. THIS BRAND IS EFFECTIVE IN LICE REPELLING, CLEANSES WELL, IS GENTLE, SMELLS GREAT AND THE CONDITIONER MAKES HER HAIR REALLY SOFT AND TANGLE FREE WITHOUT ANY BUILDUP! MY DAUGHTER'S HAIR IS REALLY FINE AND BREAKS EASILY IF WE BRUSH TOO MUCH BUT WE DONT HAVE TO DO THAT WHEN WE USE THIS CONDITIONER. ITS PRICIER THAN OTHER BRANDS BUT WELL WORTH IT! I WILL KEEP PURCHASING!!!

It is effective and great smelling. My kid loves the entire fairy tales collection including the detangling spray and the shampoo. Highly recommend!

After reading online that 34% of school aged kids have lice at any given time during the school year, I decided it was time to take preventative measures. I talked to a few people I knew and discovered that most of them weren’t doing anything to prevent lice, but those that were all said that they were using Fair Tales products . I can’t yet speak to whether these products actually work for preventing lice because my kids have not been exposed to it since we started using it (at least not that I know of), but I can say that I love that this product is all natural and organic. I can also say that I like the smell and that it makes all of our hair feel clean and look shiny. Even IF it doesn’t actually work to prevent lice, I’d buy it again for those reasons alone. I just wish it was cheaper because at these prices I may not be able to afford to buy it all the time.

Smells nice, not medicine or chemical smell. Gentle. Unlike other conditioners, you really can massage it through and then rinse. You don’t have to leave in 5 to 10 minutes! I like it!

I only heard about Fairy Tales products after I had my first child. Three kids later - I have to say... Love, love, love the Rosemary Repel Shampoo & Conditioner, and Leave-in Conditioning Spray!!! My eldest (almost 8yo) has been using a combination of the shampoo/conditioner/leave-in conditioner since she was in the 2-year pre-K program. I had read a prior review from a mother with much older kids saying that she used the 3 products throughout her kids elementary school years, years in which the schools reported numerous lice outbreaks, but never had her kids bring any lice home. So based on that review, and multiple other positive reviews, I invested in the products.My daughter takes a bath every school night, as does my son - using the Rosemary Repel Shampoo/Conditioner, and in the morning before going to school, we spray their hair with the Rosemary Leave-in Conditioning Spray. It might sound like an overzealous regimen to some, but I remember the grief I once caused my Mom when I was a kid and brought lice home (much to her chagrin), spreading it to my siblings. I can't tell you how many notices I've received informing me of yet another lice outbreak in my kids schools. All things being said, and these 6 years later, we've yet to wrestle with the grief of lice at home *knock on wood*. And I daresay, I feel pretty confident that for future lice outbreaks in school, we're covered provided we continue to use the Fairy Tale products as prescribed above.
