OK so the story of the Verve CULTURE and what the mission of the owners are doing is amazing! thank you second how wonderful is it to get an original made and intentionally just for you. this is just what a cacao ceremony needs to sit together and share this sacred drink.

If there would be an option for Zero stars I would give it to it, one star is too much. Don’t buy this item. It leaks, and it is not well finished. I curated it as indicated and it leaks profusely, it is unusable and they don’t even accept returns, obviously because they know it is defective. I just wasted the money and there is NO use for it. DONT BUY THIS

Can’t say enough good things about this jarrá! I love the look and the chocolate came out so delicious and frothy in this jug. Not to mention the customer service was wonderful.

Don’t waste your money. Leaks and has sand type particles inside on the glaze. Tried sealing but worthless and had to throw away due to no return policy.

I get that this is handmade- I collect terra cotta cookware- but the texture of this jug is terrible - with gouges, scratches and burrs inside and out. Even the glazed interior surface is rough. For the price, this is unacceptable. And to think, I had my eye on this for couple of years before going for it... One star for arriving quickly and intact. UPDATE: AND it is apparently unable to be returned "for food safety reasons." As if I would put food in anything so poorly finished... I wish I could leave zero stars.
