Works great but needs a little fine tuning
Looks great and functions as intended but per the other comments this does involve some filing to get it to fit flush and to get the pin holes aligned. Took me about an hour to do as i didn’t want to over file but if you don’t care about it looking perfect you can probably do it in 15 minutes with a hand file or fast if you use a machine. Scope is nothing fancy but gets the job done. Wouldn’t use for precision shooting but within 100yds cant really complain.

Good value and fit for patient people
I liked how it wasn't a drill and tap, also can take off fairly easily. It took over an hour of filing, fitting, filing, etc. In the end got it to fit and realized that it was somewhat lo9ose after the bolt/spring was put back in. I ended up putting steel putty on the lips of the mount and let it set there 20 minutes. After I put the mount back and it didnt move at all, also cleaned off the excess putty on the outside. I read how the rail screws come loose and saw how small they are, so I put a red locktite on them. The scope itself isnt bad, but the rings suck, I couldnt keep them tight, different rings are needed. DONT BUY IF YOU ARE IMPATIENT AND dont have a few hours, steel putty and red loctite, I would highly suggest better rings too. Update: dust cover loosened after cleaning, the putty doesnt hold it tight. I ended up puting copper shim under the cover and hold in place with dots of eboxy. It has no movement now.

Way better than I thought.
This is a solid system to ancor your scope. MUST BE FILED TO FIT. If you screw it up it's your fault. I filed a little at a time with a GOOD file. Checking for pin fit. This is a gunsmith level operation. If you don't have a few good files and skill don't attempt. Mine is rock solid. Shoots great now. Shorten the side locking screws with a fine grinder so they dont stick out. Mount, screws, rings and scope are 5 ☆ in my book. Quality steel.

Nice set up requires work
You have to shave the receiver cover down fml

The rings
Definitely not a plug and play type of accessory. I do like the flat/matte black paint. Had to file to fit… not super angry about that because I could make it fit better myself. But the rings on the scope are slightly too small for scope. One screw on the ring stripped out. Disappointed about that mostly.

Believe the other reviews
2x1960's Norinco's... does not fit, way too much alternation's to be loose and not safe... May work for Perogy's or the Slatko's...but not for the Norinco's.. Run , run ...run away from this....if you want metal to peel your face off, this is it for you...

Take time to fit it up....
Ordered for a norinco sks....had to file front a little at a time untill rear pin is so tight u have to use a rubber mallet to install...will need a buffer in the back of recvr. Probably make on out of a mud flap...didnt use set screws because it could mar up your receiver...but its a tight fit with no movement....now to bore sight and take to range....scope was ok not the best but hey it came with the mount. overall a good mount for not alot of cash...plus my eyes are getting older.....probably change the scope later on. Update: used nylon metric grub screws to hold it too receiver more tightly and too prevent marring of receiver....very very secure mounting.

Spent the usual hour filing and dremeling to fit, which is expected for after market stuff of this price. After that, mounting went easy, and cover sits firm with the 4 set screws. BUT! I racked the bolt and cut my hand on the excess set screw poking out, so I simply cut them in half so the screw wasn't poking out, but was flush with the lock nut. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO THIS TO SAVE YOUR HIDE! But don't cut them too short! a little less than in half should do it. The scope itself seems OK, optics aren't top quality, but useable and it seems like an OK little scope for plinking, especially for a blind bugger like me! The open sight cavity is a bonus if you want to use your iron sights, just look below the scope and there they are! I haven't shot with it yet, but will see how well it holds zero. If you expect to just drop this on and go shooting, and aren't mechanically inclined, I would recommend something else as the filing took a while, and has to be done very carefully lest you remove too much metal and wind up with a useless piece of steel. 7/10

This is clearly meant for airsoft, the 4 set screws are supposed to be set into your sks receiver too so expect damage from them especially once you start shooting AND they back themselvesoff from the recoil. Scope is extremely low quality, my cheap rio brand (actually bought at gunstore) scope is superior in every way and I probably only paid 30$ more for it. 7.62 is far too powerful of a round for cheap scopes just use irons until you can afford a brand from an actual gunstore. This scope wouldnt hold zero and took forever to zero out because every shot would mess up your zero even more ao you are constantly adjusting. Amazon gun accessories are really only good for 22 rifles because the lack of recoil won't mess with the delicate instruments too much. Save your money on this scope buy an ar500 target and go ring steel with your irons.

Rings are cheap and bent ...won't hold solid for the life of me ... Scope is cheap and glass is missing from front apriture..never again will I purchase anything fire arms related from Amazon again ...leave it to the professionals..visit your local gun shop....what a waste of money 💰
