Q: Does it really hold 13 cards?

I currently have 11 cards and 6 dollar bills in mine and it will close. I think it might take 2 more cards and still be able to close. If you are one of those people that keeps a bunch of messy receipts in your wallet (which I used to be), then there would be a problem with closing the wallet. Same with lots of money, it probably wouldn't close with lots of money and 13 cards, but 13 cards and a couple well lined up dollars, it closes just fine.

Q: Just how many credit cards will it hold? I read one description said 6 and another says 13.

I have 18 cards of varying kinds in my wallet. I have doubled up on some of the slots. It closes easily. That doesn't include the 3 cards I have in the window compartment. I really like it. Sometimes I wish it was a little smaller and I didn't have to carry so many cards. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the wallet.

There are 5 slots that are protected. Unprotected 5 slots on the back side of the protected slots -there is no security sign on that side. The drivers license slot no security ensignia.
