I love this gum! Unfortunately the flavor does not last very long. As always with amazon, shipping was so fast. I got spoiled by amazon!

Stale gum. Flavor not last long

I've got this gum before (not from Amazon but from a store) and liked it so it wasn't something i'd never had. The gum is old, like dried out and brittle old. if I'm reading the manufacturing date correctly its over a year sitting around that being said the flavor doesn't last but a minuet after you chew the dust into a gum like paste. others on here have had the same issues with some of the packs being ok and others dry sticks. this is a hit or miss thing just keep that in mind when ordering.

This was one of my favorites growing up. Okay, years ago - I still haven't grown up. :)Pepsin helps with digestion, but the flavor was what made this a favorite. Doesn't last terribly long, but it never did. Knowing what it was originally makes it easier to honestly review now.Quick shipping, exactly as described. Would buy again.

I was aware from other postings and some investigations on my own that the current Beeman's gum does not contain pepsin. However, the flavor is as I remember it from many years ago and brings back many pleasant memories; however, it does lose the flavor in a relatively short period of time. While initially the gum is hard, it does soften during chewing and stays soft for a long time. I chew gum to help clean my teeth (particularly after eating) so the negatives mentioned aren't really problems.
