I bought this item in 2023. It is still holding up and has never fallen off of my windshield. My phone stays put, but the mount shakes a little when driving over bumps. My phone never falls out though, and the movement is minimal. The only downside I would say is that two years later, the backside of the mount has melted/fused onto the glass. It is very difficult to try and remove. If I was to take it off, it would be permanently and I would have to use a razor blade to scrape the adhesive material off the windshield. I’ve seen other people with similar mounts, where the adhesive has melted and dripped down their windshield. This mount has NOT done that. In short, this is a durable mount that works. Phone doesn’t fall out, it’s easy to put the phone on the mount and remove. If you want a mount that you can remove/ rearrange frequently, this may not be it. Once this sucker is on for a few months, it’s likely fused real well onto the glass!

I know it takes a bit of hit and miss to find something good. Reading reviews has most often changed the odds in my favor. This product I have in both of my vehicles, off road and on road. Has worked flawlessly and is holding on well.

I used this on the bottom left-hand corner of my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 windshield. I extended the arm as far out as it would reach into the corner. I suction-cupped it to the glass instead of on the dashboard. Most owners of older-generation rams would know the reason. And voilà works effortlessly. I've never bought one before, and I decided to pull the trigger. I'm in the middle of nowhere and constantly need to use my GPS. I hate distracted driving and noticed I always looked down to follow the directions. No thanks to Google Maps delayed auditory directions. The way I have it currently set up is beyond convenient. I barely shift my gaze to the left and never have to look down now. Surprisingly enough, it doesn't create a blind spot. But I also like to be attentive and sit straight when driving. It holds my phone up, it's stationary but can be adjusted easily, it has a great reach, it releases easily, and it has a spot to connect the charging cord when necessary. I can add a photo if anyone likes this review and is interested. It was a great buy and an even better deal when I got it on sale. Definitely worth the price. I will be recommending it to my circle.

I've been using this mount for a week now and I'm pleased that the mount has remained attached to my slightly sloping 2017 Jeep Cherokee's dashboard. My iPhone 15 fits easily into the mount with room to spare, and I'm not worried it will fall out, once I've clamped it into place. The mount is made of plastic and it has a bit of padding to prevent scratching of a phone once it is mounted. There is a button on the left side (as it faces you) to release the clamps which allows for the phone to be easily removed from the mount. My only issue with this purchase would have to be the directions for installation that come with it are poor in my opinion. Admittedly, it's not tough to figure out just by playing with the pieces, but if you are unfamiliar with how suction mounts go, you might just pull off the peel over the adhesion and expect it to stick. I did, until I remembered to flip the tab which engages the suction. I tried the vent mount, but it didn't seem as secure as the suction cup attached to my dashboard. The Jeep's dash has a slight texture to it, but that didn't seem to negatively affect the adhesion of this mount. For the ten bucks I paid, it seems good. I hope that as the weather changes and the dash gets hot from the summer sun, it still works as well as it's working in weather that's much cooler. I won't take the screen protector or case off my phone, and I won't rule out this mount dis-mounting at some point, but for now, I like it and I would recommend it. NOTE: It's not a MagSafe magnetic mount. It's a universal clamp type, and it does work best with a thin case on the phone. My Otterbox case (dual layer) is too thick to have it anchored in the clamp the way it's supposed to, but a thin Spiegen case that is MagSafe works fine.

actually quite good. ive been using it for over a year and a half now. it has performed very well. I have the suction cup attached to the corner of my dash instrument panel. twice in high heat situations after not using the car for a few days i found it had fallen off, but after re-sticking it continued to work great. my phone has never fallen off while using it, nor sagged or anything. i also have the clip attached to an air vent and have occasionally swapped the phone holder part over to that. its pretty neat. im really happy with this product

I’m giving it 3 stars because it did not last even a year. I had it on my dash from Oct 2024 and it lasted until July 2025. I absolutely love the price, the size, the sturdiness, the mobility and angles of it. Basically I loved everything about this product. However, it did not last a year, and that’s a problem. I think the hot weather is what made it fall off, which is a shame because there’s no escaping hot weather, even in the New England area.
