Perfect for the work it is intended to be used for
The price seemed a little high at first, but I will say I can't say enough how fantastic this piece of equipment is. If I could give it a 10 out of 5 I would. I have used it on a few small jobs now and I could not be any happier the set up and ease of use is prefect I thought it might be heavy but it really isn't it is very easy to maneuver around the jobsite to the different location that it will be used, it's just the right answer for that jobs you don't really need to call a truck in for. They could put a more supple hose for the wash hose the one they provide is very stiff at no real cost difference they could provide a nicer hose to work with.

Back Saving Concrete Mixer!
I've been keeping an eye on this for a couple years, and finally decided to throw in a buy one. It works great. We're building new Raised Bed Gardens with pre-casted concrete panels that interlock like legos. We can prep the forms pour 4 blocks with 2 - 80 lb bags of concrete in just a few minutes. Matter of fact, for a small job like this where your only doing 1-2 bags on the job, the machine almost goes too fast to keep up. It will be fantastic for small patio / sidewalk jobs, where you can form up enough to run say a whole pallet of concrete bags (42 to pallet). I think bigger job than that, I'm probably thinking about calling in a concrete truck. ALSO, its very to clean when done, just throw a scrap bucket under it and let it run water after no me concrete left, and spray down whole machine with included cleaning hose - DONE!

Buy one. It is worth it!
We have poured a garage floor with this and it is definitely worth it!! It saved us so much time using this and we have more concrete products to go!! Quality was great!!

Great mixer
Had this unit a couple of weeks now. We are contractors and had a lot of concrete pads to make, without having access for a truck to come in. We've run over 500 bags through this, it works very well. The manufacturer says you can do 40 bags an hour, we had 2 guys keeping it loaded, and can get about 60 an hour. The feed mechanism works great. There are a couple of problems. Primarily the switch. Ours gave up on the 2nd day. We got a another switch from ace hardware ( not exactly a direct replacement, but same DPDT)The other thing is the water valve . It makes a huge difference in the consistency of the mix whether you are level or not, and the bag mix consistency. We kept having to fiddle with the control to keep the from being too dry or wet (not the maker's fault)Overall, we love it!If you are doing small concrete and can't get a truck in, this is a big step up from regular mixers. What used to take all day can be done in hours.Example, 8x10 pad for a shed poured and floated to broom finish- just over 1 1/2 hours ( 70 bags).Easy to clean, seems like it's fairly heavy duty. Even though it's a 1/2 motor, no problems or bogging down.Little expensive, but for us, it paid for itself on the the 1st job. (We have over 700 - 50# bags to do ,all different areas of pads to do - and no way to a truck in. A pump delivery would cost as much as the machine.) Our biggest section was 120 bags. Still, done in a reasonable time period.Recommended for anyone that does a job that's less than 2 yards, and can't get a truck in.

Out-F'n-Standing product
This thing is actually pretty badass, I thought it was kind of gimmicky but I hate mixing concrete by hand so I was willing to give it a try, holy crap, for a one man operation, outstanding, put two people on it, insane, put a crew on it and you can burn through some pallets of concrete. It is quite expensive, but the speed and ease of use seems to make it worth it. I don't use it commercially, just some projects around the house and some friends, but when we go Amish mode and take a weekend to knock out each others project list and all run this thing, It is insane how much concrete we can lay down and finish. I now feel like every minute I ever spent hand mixing or tumbler mixing concrete was a complete and total waste that I will never get back.

It doesn't make pouring concrete easy, but it does make it easier!
I bought this for pouring some slabs around my property. Assembly was easy enough, instructions said to use SAE wrenches, but the bolts were metric, which i found odd. Also the bolts and nuts came with only one washer each, instead of having a washer under the head and nut; minor stuff that a quick scrounge in the garage remedied. On to the operation, make sure you have the concrete bags really close to the machine if you are working by yourself, this mixer eats 60 lb. bags quickly and without the hopper extension, you can only fit 2 bags worth in the machine, so if you load it up and go to screed, you will have to make sure you check on the machine fairly often to make sure yo don't run out of concrete and start dumping water into your form. Pouring goes a heck of a lot faster than with a drum mixer and having two people would be optimal. Don't turn it off when the hopper is full, maybe it was a fluke, but i turned it off while there was a bag of concrete in the hopper and it jammed and tripped the breaker. How level the machine sits affects the concrete slump for some reason, so to get a consistent pour, keep the machine at the same level.

Water Valve
The electronic solenoid valve that opens the water to spray while the machine is in forward failed. It was so hot you couldnt touch it, and would trip the relay constantly. Replaced with a ball valve.
