Great wireless and long battery life
I’ve had an older Hyperx Cloud II for 8 years and it’s still working great. But I wanted a wireless headset and the Cloud Alpha is great for several reasons. It is as comfortable as the old wired one. I can wear it for a 1 or 2 hr meeting comfortably. Colleagues say my voice is crisp clear - not muddled, scratchy, or tinny. So kudos for microphone quality. The sound quality is adequate for meetings… I don’t know how it would be in other situations such as gaming or listening to music. The wireless feature is exactly as I’d hoped with no installation software required. There is an app that you can optionally install but I haven’t needed any features that offers. But I only use the headset for work, not gaming. I haven’t tested the maximum range, but it’s no problem to walk across the room and maintain a good connection. This was a refurbished unit that cost $119 and seems the same as new. I hope these last as long as my other set…thanks HyperX!

Would buy again
I highly recommend this headset.I replaced my SteelSeries Arctis 7 with these. I'm not an audiophile, but I think they sound great. They're comfortable, and the range is more than enough for me. I can wear them in my apartment, and they only start to cut out on the far side of it, which is approximately 30 feet away (and around a couple of walls). My friends say my voice comes through clearly on Discord, and I really like that I can easily detach the mic if I don't need it.I like that they charge via USB-C, and the battery life is INSANE. This was one of my main complaints about my SteelSeries. I have had them for 8 months and hardly ever charge them. There's software you can install to tweak spatial sound, equalizers, and look at the battery level you'll completely forget about. It has not been obtrusive to me in any way.

Love these
I purchased these at the recommendation of my son who is an avid gamer. these hold a charge forever it seems and the sound quality is amazing. If I recvall, I bought the ones that were used-Great and saved a few bucks, but even so, well worth the money.

Awesome headset
Hands down the best wireless headset I've ever used. The battery life is phenomenal, never ran out of me during a session. The included cord is nice and braided, I think six feet long, and let's you use the headset in wired mode if the battery does get low. For the price, it's a solid pair of headphones.

HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless Gaming Headset
My Comprehensive Review: HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless Gaming HeadsetThe HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless Gaming Headset delivers a premium experience that blends comfort, audio quality, and extraordinary battery life, making it a standout choice for PC gamers. Here's an in-depth look at its features and performance:Design and ComfortThe Cloud Alpha Wireless maintains HyperX's signature design with a robust aluminum frame and plush memory foam ear cups. The materials feel premium and durable, ideal for long gaming sessions. The headset is lightweight despite its solid build, and the clamping force strikes a good balance—secure without feeling too tight. The ear cups are spacious, accommodating different ear sizes while providing excellent noise isolation.Audio PerformanceHyperX has outdone itself with the sound quality on this headset. Powered by Dual Chamber Drivers, it delivers a crisp, immersive sound profile. The bass is punchy but not overpowering, mids are clear, and highs are detailed without being harsh. Paired with DTS Headphone:X Spatial Audio, the 3D soundscape enhances the gaming experience, making it easy to pinpoint enemy positions in FPS games or appreciate the immersive environment in story-driven titles.Whether you're gaming or listening to music, the audio performance is consistently impressive. It supports a wide range of frequencies, giving an excellent balance of clarity and depth.Wireless Connectivity and Battery LifeOne of the headset's most remarkable features is its 300-hour battery life, which outperforms nearly all competitors. This means weeks of gaming without needing to recharge, even with daily use. The USB dongle provides a stable and low-latency wireless connection, ensuring there’s no audio delay during intense gaming moments.Microphone QualityThe detachable noise-canceling microphone delivers clear and consistent voice quality, making it great for team communication. It effectively suppresses background noise, ensuring your voice comes through even in noisy environments. However, while the mic is solid for gaming, it might not match the quality of standalone mics for streaming or professional recordings.Software and CustomizationThe HyperX NGENUITY software allows for basic customization, including adjusting the EQ, enabling spatial audio, and monitoring battery life. While the software is straightforward, it lacks some advanced features found in competitors, such as per-application audio profiles or deeper customization options.ConsDespite its many strengths, the Cloud Alpha Wireless isn’t without minor drawbacks. The lack of Bluetooth support limits its versatility outside of PC gaming. Additionally, some users might prefer more customization options in the software.VerdictThe HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless Gaming Headset is an exceptional choice for PC gamers, particularly those who prioritize comfort, immersive audio, and industry-leading battery life. Its durable build and excellent wireless performance make it a worthy investment, even if it lacks some advanced features like Bluetooth. If you're looking for a high-quality gaming headset that can handle marathon sessions without missing a beat, the Cloud Alpha Wireless is hard to beat.

Excellent wireless headset
Works great! I've been told the microphone is very crisp. I enjoy that it's wireless. I'm so glad I paid a little extra to purchase this model and would highly recommend it.

Decent but not worth the money
These have good sound quality and I really like the LED feature on the mic to indicate when you’re muted, but the mic quality itself is pretty mid. Compared to my old $50 headset these were not worth the extra money.

Battery life is legit.
im here to tell you if you have any doubts about the battery life. it is 100% true. i purposely left this headset on 24 hours everyday until it died. let me just say.. i lost count after 2 weeks. i forgot it needed to be charged lol. if you take care of it and turn if off when it not in use. it will easily last a month without charge. probably more. the comfort is great its not heavy and fits on just tight enough to not fall off your head if your doing something. the sound is the only bad part. and its not even that big of an issue tbh. its just little quiet but i just installed extentions on chrome or opera for volume increase and boom easy fix. same with games. just turn your game up louder then normal and its regular. i bought the headset on Nov 22, 2023. its now january 12. ive charged this beast since then a whole 4 times.. and thats with it being on 24/7. i use them to game, listen to asmr, and at work.
