I did not expect this kit to be this good. The scissors are fantastic. They fold up very small and store well in this tiny case. Perfect for a compact travel bag or in a backpack while camping. You never know when you might need to make a repair on a piece of clothes and this little gem has come in handy many times. The needles are nice and sharp and are easy to work with. The multiple colors of thread is very handy and the quality of the thread seems to be ok. It repairs seams fine and holds buttons. The thread is not as nice as some, but if that is important to you, put some of your own in the kit. The scissors. For such a tiny pair, they are sharp and easy to use. I would not cut out a pattern or anything, but I have had no trouble cutting a patch out of a scrap of denim to repair some pants while camping.This is a great kit.

The best sewing kit I ever bought. Its small and compact. The scissors are actually really good! The case is solid too, and closes securely. Not a huge amount of thread, but this is meant for traveling and emergency repairs. 6/5 best kit ever.

Brought this with us when traveling abroad to Paris and London. Ended up using it in Paris when a zipper broke! Packs really well due to the convenient size. I love that it's all organized into a small compact plastic case. Functional, good quality, and amazing value. It's better to have this with you, for sure! It takes up such small room, so buy it and pack it knowing you are prepared for wardrobe malfunctions!

You don't buy this tiny thing for anything but the little case and the teeny tiny folding scissors. The needles are nothing to brag about. The eye holes are so tiny, you almost can't even use the needle threader included with the kit. Seriously, pitch those things right in the trash. The tape measure is neat, but why do you have one in a travel kit? When are you ever gonna need to measure anything on the fly in public this way? And the included thread and buttons! Boy, are they useless. But you don't buy this kit for those things. Just for the little case and teeny tiny scissors! Seriously, they are the best. Totally worth buying the other junk in the kit just for those. Fill it with your own thread and buttons. Maybe put a thimble in it (prolly would have been a more useful tool to include), but remember, the little case is cool and the tiny scissors are awesome!

This kit has everything you need. I took it on a three week trip and we used the scissors out of it the most to clip tags, loose threads, and even sufficed as a cuticle trimmer, etc. My only recommendation is that you at a drop oil to the scissors. They are a bit stiff to open brand new. They are plenty sharp and worked great on our trip. This kit will go with us on all our trips from now on.
