Works great. Purchased to install electrical in an ICF foundation. I did the cutting and the crew came behind and routed wire. Knife kept up great.

Im a carpenter and I constantly have to install EPS and XPS foam on houses. I've been searching for a way to make clean and efficient cuts for awhile. This knife cuts through foam like butter and can keep up with constant cutting cutting. Heats up fast and you really just tap the trigger while cutting to keep it hot. When done, scrape residue off blade with wire brush. Definitely made in China, would prefer a heavier duty handle and less plastic components but it does the job.

We are cutting a lot of styrofoam. This tool stays hot and keeps on cutting without having to stop and wait for it to reheat.

product was advertised with a variable heat setting and there is none - it's either full "on" hot or "off"; don't know if that makes much of a difference, but the advertising needs to be corrected
