Good
Now I’ve used it for summer, I can report that it’s a good little AC. Don’t know how comparable the noise level is to other models other than my son has a meaco and noise is the same.

Good at a price
Nicely built and really cools the room effectively. Window mount accessory broke but I had no intention to use it. Made my own vent in a Perspex sheet. Delivered at the second attempt with the first being a big television… can’t blame Amazon for that and a replacement was there the next day. Wouldn’t sleep with it on as it is too noisy for that. At 50% off retail price this was an excellent buy at that price.

No nonsense air conditioner
Very quiet and excellent cooling capabilities, can heat a large room if given the necessary start up time. The remote is a welcome addition and is very smart looking in addition. The accessories are all of extremely good quality though I would advise of a window ac zipper which helps keep the hot air out

Okay
I bought this during the first heatwave and it arrived just before the second one. It’s an Ariston so I expect it to last, and it comes with a lot of useful bits and attachments. But… it’s underpowered, the supplied hose is 0.5m too short for upper window openers and it’s a bit too simple - doesn’t go off once it’s reached a good temp (I got it down to 26C in the kitchen but it just continues in fan mode) and it doesn’t have auto-flaps. It does have a timer though.One thing I did have an issue with, is the plastic frame around the vent is a bit fragile - it cracked after I moved it upstairs. Hence the 3 stars..

Good size, pretty decent price
The air con got good reviews and for the most part they are correct but it is not as quiet as some people say it is. Don't get me wrong for the price it's a good unit but it is too loud to sleep with it on and it rumbles on our floor so may have to look at anti vibration pads or something like.

Defective and unsafe to use
Delivered on its side. never worked properly. Drivers should be asked to keep upright or manufacturer should state on box...KEEP UPRIGHT

Arrived in a badly battered box with someone else's returns paperwork inside
Haven't used it yet. It arrived looking like a cage fighter who lost heavily. Not impressed!

Not bad
I turned it on to check how it works. Very loud, buzzing like a large industrial air conditioner, like an truck. The noise is much louder than stated, noise level is about 70 dB.
