Q: My unit arrived with water dripping from it. i assumed it was someone’s return so i exchanged it. second one had the same thing. is this normal?

Yes, normal residue after factory leak test. Too bad they don’t test the lighting system, mine needs the water turned off and back on 2-3 times before it stays lit, no fix available

Q: Is this good for pennsylvania winter weather?. Also, ia this big enough for 6 in family?

We only have two people and its plenty and I'm in Minnesota so its doing fine so far

Q: What is the UEF range on this model?

I don't know what you mean by "UEF" range. My instruction booklet lists rated BTU of the burner at 170,000 BTU. I set my water temp. at 120 deg. and we get satisfactory hot water.
