We used these on our muscadine (grape) trellis and they are amazing! We used 9 gauge trellis wire and these were perfect. Never have we had such an easy time tightening the wire and the wonderful part is that it stayed tight. My husband and I both commented that we wish we had known about these years ago because all of our trellis work would have been so much easier. When the line sags a bit, all we had to do was go to the end and pull on it and it slipped easily through the wire vise and the wire was nice and tight. Seriously - these things are amazing. We trellised 5 separate runs and attached drip tube to the wire and these things held tight. We are sooooo happy!

Great for holding wire tight on trellis

The grip the wire well, but it would be nice if there was a way to release them. I also had one of them fail when one of the internal parts flipped over when I inserted the 9 Ga wire. I could not figure out how to straighten out that part. After that I filed the wire ends to more of a point and they fit through better.

Used with anchors for wires for grape vine trellis! Easy to use and durable!

First time using this type of product. It was easy to install and liked the results. Holding up well and excited to use them for the next project.

The product itself is easy to use and set up...except for one major problem: No where did it say that no screws were included. Really? You couldn't have added screws to the kit? I had to stop my project for the day until I can get back to the hardware store to purchase screws. You could have at least mentioned this in the product description. As far as the durability of the product, we will see how they hold up after this next winter.

This was my first time building a grape trellis, and these made it very easy to string the 9 gauge wire between the poles. I was able to pull the wires very taught thanks to these vises.

These wire vices work great for building a grape trellis they grip the 9-gauge wire very tight and do not slip.
